Hey Guys this be Pou Holding it down for all The POLY's... im not sure honestly how to do this... But i know i read testimonies after testimonies watching videos after videos to stay on top of things and motivated... I can truly say that I have many defaults... ANd ive never been The Ripped Kid i have always been the really strong or big strong kid... Now i just want to be the Dangggggg Guy... Fit, Lean and so Forth...
I was once 250lbs when i went and served in Sao Paulo Brasil for the Church of Jesus Christ from 2005-2007... Working out like a mad dog and doing MMA things Even lost mad body fat out there ill show you pics... i had worked really hard to get there... after time I slowly gained the weight because Members would feed me... and Feed me... hahhaha and it was hard to say no only because to Polynesians its hard to waste food... On top of that Coming back home after 2 years from the mission Poly Food was where it was at...LMFAO

NOW its 2012 and i found that i finally peaked to a disturbance of 360lbs. luckily im tall. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! emoticon
So Not to Long ago i started to hit the gym and started to focus more on losing the weight again... in about junish... I was at an Astounding weight of 345 and for a long time i could not go lower then 330...
By August and a few more concentrated FOCUS like Using Thermogenics and eating right i peaked below 330 i was at least getting down to 328 326 lmao I know not a lot huh... hahahah
So i cut the Junk Food, The Greasy Foods and Especially the PEPSI emoticon or soda hahha...

Insanity is so rough on me and I do have A Gaut emoticon i wanted to avoid it Butttttttttttt... I told myself Insanity is for me and if it doesnt work i can say Insanity was shit... Right now im only on my Ninth day TODAY and i have finally got to
317lbs ...

So thats only 8 days of Insanity at least 30 minutes of Sauna,
30 minutes of Weights and Biking or Treadmill or Any cardio
Thermogenics i Take is Lipodrene and RoxyLean
I need to intake more Protein But i am A Poor person... hahahaha

So Lets Get It

I do keep a Youtube Video of Short Clips On My Progression

I go by Samoan Rage
and all my Friends call me
Pou Daddy
even the Cops in My Town and all those who actually know me
Even where i WORK lol

Oh my goodness, you have such an amazing energy and light to you. Loved reading your post. I know you know, this kind of change takes time, and all those baby steps you have taken add up in the end. It doesn't sound like you need more motivation, it sounds like you have a lot of motivation to share... and you are motivated already. You just needed to shake it up... and it's working.

I naturally shifted from food to fuel as I continue on my journey (I have a thread on here where I am sharing my progress just to share... it's mostly me talking to myself LOL). By the way, my nickname at one time was honorary Polynesian Princess, one of my favorites!

You are going to see amazing results on Insanity... you already are. Forget the scale for the next 60 days, trust me. I am a big girl, and I have lost inches etc.... the lbs will come off for sure.... you stick to Insanity and keep improving your ability... the scale is going to change. You broke that barrier that you needed to.

I am now 7 days away from finishing round 1 of Insanity. Best of luck to you!

First, welcome to INSANITY. You can do this! Just remember, we did not get this way overnight, so we shouldn’t expect to change that fast either.

It appears that you have an awesome lookout on things, and have this in perspective. My only concern would be that of the thermogenics. Watch those, as some you have to cycle, and others may bring on side effects.

Good luck.

Ed

Hey Poudaddy!

You're having some great energy and results so far! I love the attitude too emoticon
I've not tried Samoan food but I come from a Scottish/Irish background so I definitely know how sometimes wasting food is an insult and you show the love with another plate!

If you're looking for some fun motivation and a little accountability, feel free to stop by for plenty of both at Insanity and Beyond we'd love to have you!

Also, a good way to get more protein in on the 'cheap' is quinoa. It's a grain and has a good whallop of protein in it. And it can be mixed in with tons of foods to add some oomph without killing the wallet. At least I find it works. I often mix quinoa with grilled ground beef and make my own 'burritos' with it!

Way to go on the inch down and continuing progress! emoticon

Insanity can be ROUGH on the knees, I agree. I have a bad knee and there are certain moves that just make me go 'well, time to modify!' emoticon

Try not to weight yourself daily, there are natural fluctuations depending on time of day, amount of water consumed, sodium, even hormones. It can drive you around the bend!

Keep up the great work!

Howzit Uce! Good job in trying to better your health and get in shape. I am born and raised in Hawaii and I know how Islanders love to eat so I know how hard it is for you to make this journey. Just don't give up and try your best to eat healthy and listen to your body. From what I read you work hard and workout harder but sometimes just gotta take it easy and let the body recover. Just like me I have a hard time following a strict diet cause I love eating the good island food but I try my best to avoid it as much as possible. Just by you cutting out the soda and cutting out the oily stuff is already a good start. Just keep pushing and the results will come. Don't judge your results on anybody else on here cause we all different and I know Samoans are naturally big so your results may take longer than someone with different genes. Take it easy! Just stay motivated and keep us updated.

Aloha,
Jake
