recovery whey protein drink post workout 1st time p90x nutrition result and recovery formula
10/22/12 6:04 PM
im all out of the P90x result and recovery formula, im debating on ordering another bottle or maybe trying something different? I already drink a whey protein shake as a meal replacement or even sometime after a work out. Should i stay with my whey protein post workout or should i just order another bottle of P90x result and recovery OR should i try something else? maybe muscle milk????
Somebody please help me out.

Today was also my first day of P90x lean and i want to start my daily routine and get it dialed in. please and thank you!

Based on just my experience I would get the formula again and keep doing what you've been doing. When I was doing INSANITY daily I would do a protein shake as a meal, usually in the morning. Then I would always consume the recovery formula right after or sometimes during my workout. I always felt that the more I fueled my muscles the better off I would be.

Hello

If you liked the R&R and it worked for you, I recommend getting it again. I have been using R&R for probably two years. I love the taste of it and therefore, not only do I view it as my recovery drink of choice......but because I love the taste, it's also my "reward" for having an intense workout.

Keep your meal replacement protein shake seperate. That's a differnt purpose. Have you received any help with setting up a nutrition plan and do you know how many calories to consume daily? If you have questions, feel free to contact me. I'm always here to help everyone to achieve their goals.

What are you studying in college?

Musclepharm Recon mixed with gatorade and then whey protein after that. R&R is just too expensive for just dextrose and whey concentrate. Ingredients to look up:

Musclepharm Recon
powdered gatorade or pure dextrose or maltodextrin
100% Gold standard whey protein.

Musclemilk is an all around kind of drink. It has both casein and milk isolates and different fats and different carbs.

I would just stick to a bcaa/eaa/fast carb/fast protein drink post workout and leave it at that.

so after some looking around i've decided to not order the RR drink but instead go with a combination of a 4:1 carb:protein drink with an addition of 5000mg of creatine as well as a daily whey protein shake. The whey protein shake is for the early morning, and the carb:protein drink + creatine is post workout

If it works for you, then sweet! Yeah that R&R is a really dumb choice and I don't see why people never notice it. Good Luck!
