I could definitely use the added support coming into the holidays. Since I connected with you last, I have finished two
Asylum rounds and have continued doing my
Insanity/P90X/ARX hybrid and daily
Asylum Relief. However, my nutrition has been slowly slipping over the past year. I have managed to gain back about 10 of the 30 pounds I lost during our original
Insanity round 1 ½ years ago. I do not want to enter the dark days of the New England winter already up 10 pounds so the next two months are key.
I'm just recovering from a bad stretch with Achilles tendonitis, which, ironically, I did not get from
Insanity but rather from hiking around my son's college campus in cold, rainy weather. As a result, I'm having to be a little more cautious with my
Insanity workouts but am still powering the
P90X and
ARX. I just received
Aslyum II and will dabble with the
Ab Shredder routine and the
Off Day Stretch but don't foresee doing the entire program until after the New Year.
I have an added incentive to rediscover my
post-Insanity "svelte self" because I'll be celebrating my 30th wedding anniversary in December and I have potential to be stronger, fitter, and lighter than I was on my wedding day ... definitely something to aspire to!
