I would say that i saw the most result in the second phase, in the bulk Phase. I am 166 pounds and have a body fat of 7% so with the calculation i made using the body beast book i had to take about 3200 calories per day, so i aimed for 3200-3400 cal per days and followed the suggested ratio of 25% Fat, 50% Carbs, 25% Protein for build and bulk phase. Then you cut back for the beast phase.
My supplements were 30g of protein powder with 30g of carbs per day, and about 10g of creatine per day. I did take Shakeology in my beast phase with that to help me achieve my protein goals.
