Today is day 1 and starts with the fit test.

Tomorrow will be cardio Recovery.

I took a look at the Cardio Recovery and it won't be a walk in the park.

cardio recovery was difficult but not nearly as intense as the first two. I'm nervous about pure cardio tomorrow hopefully I can push myself/make it through without too many brakes.

The Lunges/squat Burn , It didn't help that Shaun T talked a lot while we held our position ! The balance yourself on one leg and stretch was tough , You ever see a fat guy try to balance himself on one leg emoticon

My sister and I are doing insanity together in the mornings (both newbies). so far my calves,lower back and ab muscles are sore and my arms feel weak (carrying my baby is tiring now lol). However, my sister has very sore thighs and chest muscles. I had to take a few extra brakes today, this video doesn't really have breaks after warmup. Near the end of the workout my left calve started hurting so I had modify the mountain climbers hopefully its just strained a little and is healed by tomorrow.
after the warm-up/stretch I get cooled down and feel like the workout is done and really the workout is just beginning. Good luck

Yeah, I know what you mean.

You have to take it slow and easy in the beginning to let your body adjust.

I worked out before I started because I didn't want to be too sore. Lol...But I'm sore anyway.

Wow , Wow ,wow... Pure cardio is a work out . I'm exhausted , I have a bad habit of listening to Shaun T when he says "Faster , Faster" I really should try and go at my own pace ... emoticon Warm up is a work out !

I feel great though , 4 down.

Plyo Cardio Circuit.

I'm starting to feel my core getting tighter. Tomorrow is a rest day, but I don't think I want the rest. I may go running tomorrow morning or do something else.

My Insanity Journey

I have notice the same, Feeling tighter , energized . For my rest day , I'm planning on working on a few sets of push ups and some jumping jacks , (I got to work on that ) and spend about an hour at the basketball court shooting around .
Have you guys been monitoring your heart rate during work out ?
I've been averaging from 580 -640 Calories burned during a work out , Keeping my heart rate average about 158 during work out....

Keep on pushing !

I have a heart rate monitor but I have found them uncomfortable in the past (the chest band). I might try using it again to c where my heart rate is at. I did the p90x chest/back video this morning, I need to improve my chest strength so I can keep up with some of the insanity workouts.
