Meet Michelle B.! She participated in The Beachbody Challenge and won the $500 Daily Prize for November 7th!

"Before I did INSANITY®, I hated working out and would laugh in the face of anyone who mentioned exercise. After having my 4th child, I really let myself go. My clothes didn't fit, I hated my reflection, had low self-esteem, and was a bit past miserable. I got through the day by popping anxiety meds and drinking booze. Some days I’d starve myself. And when I did finally eat, I’d scarf down the worst food imaginable. It was an ugly cycle.

After a while, I just accepted that this is who I was and truly believed that I’d never change. But after the loss of several loved ones, I started to fear dying young and leaving my family behind—so I ordered INSANITY. It looked both fun and challenging, plus I wanted Shaun T.’s body.

INSANITY has changed my life beyond my wildest imagination. I’m now so much stronger, both physically and mentally, and have tons of confidence. I’m fitting into jeans that I swore I’d never be able to wiggle into again. My beer belly is long gone, and so are all my lame excuses. And the best thing is, those “skinny” jeans are now too big!

Now I’m a Beachbody Coach, eating right, working out daily, have so much more energy and self-confidence, and don’t sweat the small stuff. I love who I am and can dream big again! Thanks Beachbody."

You can change your life, too. Take The Beachbody Challenge™, for the ultimate motivation to get fit! Select any Beachbody® program and once you complete it, share your results for your chance to win cash and prizes.

push yourself to the limit on every exercise. if you need to pause the video that's OK.

i started by pausing the harder asylum workouts like vertical plyo and game day 2-3 times a workout and by the end of the month i didn't need to pause them anymore.

just check your heart-rate and stop if your heart is beating out of your chest and you can feel your neck pulsing, but not unless you absolutely have to. a good example would be if you can't breath or are so tired you cannot properly perform the exercise. As Shaun says know your limits and don't go beyond, cause if you do you'll never advance.

Just be safe but push and try to improve your limits.

and try to enjoy the workouts.emoticon

Hi Brandon,
Sorry just saw your post.
I def. go at my own pace. You have to...otherwise you'll just burn out. How long have you been doing the program?
Insanity never gets easy...you just get stronger as you build your endurance and cardio. Are you following the nutrition guide? It's important to eat a balanced diet especially doing Insanity.

I can tell you in the beginning I tried to keep up with the folks on the dvd, and that didn't work for me. I think once you've got those moves down..then you will be fine and less focused on keeping up with them. Right now, I just put the dvd in a go. I don't really need to focus on the t.v. just have to hear Shaun T. I'll glance up just to see what moves are next..but once you've been doing it for awhile, you'll get the hang of it. You will also know your body more and you will be able to feel it. When to slow down and when to give it your all.
Be patient with yourself and don't worry soo much. Practice on getting your form right and practice your breathing technique. Listen to Shaun T. he's like your very own personal trainer. ;)

Hang in there...I know you will see results...just keep pushing play and your on your way!

Hope I was helpful emoticon

Thank you KimberFly! I used to think it wasn't possible either...Looks like Beachbody proved me wrong too, the programs really work! We just have to push play. ;)

Hi,
I'm doing the insanity for the second round now starting from the beginning and it really is inspirational when you see how much you've grown from day 1 so that keeps me motivated to not stop and keep going! I have a goal and know I have to be patient even though I've only lost 15 pounds after 60 days I have seen results in my blood work and the doctor has said my heart rate has also shown improvement and tells the story of how this has been working and to keep up the good work! I have followed the elite nutrition and have learned how to make the right choices now so that I eat "clean" and feel so much better! People have noticed my transformation in that short time so I know it works! I am having fun and if I don't have time to workout between running my kids around and working full time outside the house, I feel guilty but I always make it up and switch workout days with the day off which is usually Sunday so I know that I am getting my workout in! It also helps to look up and see those hard core abs on Shaun T to motivate myself when I work out! I am determined to get the same one day and understand it may take years because I have those mama handles from my children which is an additional challenge! Good luck and keep going strong!

I'm also kind of scared! I'm a mother of 2..the youngest being 1 year old and I did P90X, LMP a hybrid and now I'm on insanity! I really want to get the mini baby bump out and I want to see some abs! I'm planning to re-do insanity after this round. But I feel like I don't see any huge change down at my abdominal area just yet. I know it will happen eventually, but I do get kinda nervous! I'll be patient.

You look amazing!
Hugs!
