Anyone taking Cordastra?
Is this in pill or powder form?
How are you finding it?

Thank you!
Jess

This is in pill form, and at first it seemed great. I started taking Cordastra about three weeks ago and I have had two distinct episodes of extreme energy and insomnia - I felt like I was on speed (not a memory I want to revisit). I always take the two tablets in the morning, with food and plenty of water. I varied nothing, and even stopped it for a week. I use Shakeology daily, P90x Recovery about twice a week, and take vegetarian Omega 3/DHA. I am not allergic to mushrooms, and I am not allergic to ragweed. Is this product effective at half dose? I started taking this for the immune booster, but am seriously considering taking this off of my regimen.

Wow,

Thank you so much for the input. Thats wild that it has had those effects. I would also want to take it as an immune booster. Not worth those side effects for you though.... maybe your body takes time to adjust to it? No need for highs and lows, I would take it in the morning and take melatonin at night but I don't want to put my body into any kinda of shock from polar opposite levels of energy. If you stay on it will you keep me posted on how it goes?

Thank you again, hope it works out for you!

Jess

I was told my suspected side effects are extremely unusual. I allowed myself a washout period with all supplements and am restarting with a partial dose. I am hoping it will remain a part of my regimen because I need all the immune support I can get. So far everyone I've asked who uses Cordastra loves it and has no bad effects. Beachbody will refund your money if for some reason it doesn't work out. I'm carefully tracking everything I do to pinpoint any additional triggers. Best of luck with you - I am starting TF in January, can't wait! ~Bre

For sure as with all supplements there are individual aspects that need to be considered and each person's body can react differently. I battle from severe Chronic Fatigue Syndrome which means that my body is constantly battling and fighting off what is medically termed "opportunistic infections". Thus I am at a state of severe fatigue and have a very depressed immune system.

I took Cordastra for a short time and saw marked improvements in my fatigue and immune system levels!!! The only reason that I had to come off it was because some of my preexisting infections were life-threatening and the medical doctors wanted full control over prescribing all of my supplements that were ordered. No, I do not feel as good as I did on Cordastra!!! I actually was considering going back on it because I know that I will feel that much better honestly, but I must listen to my doctors at this point. I WILL be going back on Cordastra!

It is a wonderful product and I did a lot of looking into it actually. The ingredients that are in it are known to both hep the immune system as well as aide in chronic fatigue. I have seen the research by well known doctors in the field of Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue supporting this. So if they are recommending this to the sickest of patients battling suppressed immune systems and severe fatigue, I would think it would also help the general public as well, right?

All I know from my experience is that within 3 days I felt an amazing difference in my body! And that says a lot from someone who battles Chronic Fatigue Syndrome!!!

I've been taking Cordastra for about 3 months now. I love it but ...

I may have to get off it for a while. I have been bleeding for months. I thought it was because of the different methods of birth control I have been trying. I stopped using birth control which turns out is a good thing because I decided to research cordyceps and astragalus further today and found out several things:

Both are blood thinners and inhibits the ability to clot. Which would explain my non-stop bleeding. Cordyceps in conjunction with birth control can heighten the production of progesterone (a hormone that a woman's body releases to the uterus to tell it to prepare for pregnancy).

So. Until my bleeding stops, I am off Cordastra and birth control. Hoping to get back on Cordastra soon though as I love it.

Anyone have issues with taking Cordastra with tachycardia? I have Hashimoto's disease and desperately need something. I already drink Shakeology...
