2 Hybrid schedules I'd like to share
I put these two hybrids together. One of them is basically the same as the Advanced Hybrid schedule that comes with the volume 2 package, but I incorporate yoga and don't have you doing doubles.

The second is an X2/Asylum hybrid I put together. It incorporates volume 1 and 2 asylum while sticking to the main structure of the X2 resistance program. I personally feel like it would be an incredible schedule for most anyone who has already completed X2 and Volume 2.

Just wanted to share if anyone was looking for something a little different.

Looks great but it actually seems like you have some workouts from original P90X in the second hybrid schedule? (X trainer, core synergistics) I only have Insanity, Asylum Vols. 1 & 2, and P90X2, so I don't know what those workouts are like. Which workouts would be good substitutes for those 2 P90X workouts? Thanks!

Ah, I do use Core Synergystics from P90X. I think I would replace it with Max Recovery from Insanity.

And X Trainer is from Asylum Volume 2, was there a different workout you don't think you have?

I am almost done with week three of Volume 2. I have done P90X and X2.

These are cool hybrids. I was considering doing Volume 2 over again in December. I have made good improvement on all the agility stuff and thought one more time through would give me another chance to really max out on all the workouts.

I also pre-ordered Les Mill Combat and I want to do that as well.

But your hybrids could work out well sometime in 2013. I alsohave to consider that I am away from home on business mondays through thursdays so try and do workouts requiring dumbbells and pull up bars on days when I am home.

Anyway thanks for sharing the hybrids.

That's awesome Marcj. I've read some of your other posts, and I think it's super impressive you're rocking the Asylum at your age and sticking with it.

It seems to me, that much like Asylum volume 1 you'd really get the most out of volume 2 by doing it twice. You're more comfortable with all the jump rope and agility moves the second time through so you can really get after it.

Good luck with whichever route you take though!

The only modification is that I will be doing "Warrior Yoga" for martial artists instead of P90X Yoga. I have nothing against those. I just didn't bring my copies here with me on this deployment. Boo lol

Great hybrid calendar though! I do plan to jump on the Asylum 1/2 hybrid after I am done with Asylum Volume 2. Thanks!

Thanks CoachShayS: just trying to stay "one step ahead of the law."

To be honest, I am pretty proud of myself for doing these crazy programs. After a lost decade of being way fat and totally sedentary (my 50s) I am glad I am in a place mentally where if I miss a day of exercise I am pissed off.

I also like to see myself improve in terms of strength, or agility or endurance, etc. I like the challenge.

Carry on.

Nothing wrong with that man. I say any yoga is good yoga. I just think it's important to get some kind of yoga in once a week.
