Well, it's really very simple. When you coach someone you should encourage and give guidance to that person. This takes time, remember each person needs individualized attention. If you are coaching 20 or 30 people you may have to spend 2 hours a day or more. Now, your coach makes a commission of everything you buy from beachbody, this is in a way how coaches are being paid for their time. If a coach is taking the time and effort to create a group, do follow up and support to their members, the coach expects that you are in his group.

Another option is to ask you own coach to create a group so you can join.

Two excellent and honest answers. Many coaches spend hours a day on these threads and on Facebook groups. The only thing they get aside from personal gratification is a small commission when a customer orders something.

That being said, I have run multiple threads here on BB and on FB and have NEVER told someone they have to change to me as a coach. Those that did not want to switch in the beginning usually realize the passion and time spent in my being a coach and usually switch on their own. There are a few that stick with their old coach and I am fine with that. I am in the helping business.

well i have to say... I am a new Coach from Canada and I, too, have noticed this on these boards and have been turned off. I actually stopped posting on the boards and just found some groups on facebook (with my coach) and posted on those daily. (for the last 11 months)
So I too, understand the turnoff.

I understand that Beachbody Coaches are wanting to get their commissions and such, but in the end I think that WE all need support and motivation from a number of places, and think that it is very sad that some are not willing to help without the 'change in coaches'

I am an RN, and I can't imagine having a patient ask for something, and I turn around and say "sorry, I can't help you, I'm not your nurse"
Can you imagine?! I may not be able to help immediately for some things, but I would be asking their nurse the needed questions in order to help. We are a TEAM!

It was my understanding that this is TEAM BEACHBODY, am I right?!

I genuinely have commented on questions and posts, without the need for someone to change to me, but I notice that sometimes the thread becomes a group... and you get added on facebook, but then need to be part of the challenge group and start on same dates, etc.
It really can be discouraging for people who would like to connect with more people.

How do I change coaches?

I'm also new to tbb I haven't experienced that but what I don't understand is why when I purchased the BBL program my coach does p90x I haven't talked to or contacted my coach when I come across one I like I'll change my biggest thing is I don't have nor do I want a Facebook account and alot of groups are through Facebook that is frustrating for me!!!!!
