Hey guys, I'm wondering if instead of Shakeology...could you sub weigh protein into some of the dessert recipes and such posted on the site? I'm pretty sure you could and realize the results may be slightly different because of what's in both products but I just want confirmation. Also...is there any other recipes? Right now, I'm looking for employment but when I find it I plan on upgrading my membership to try the customized meal planner. I don't know if I've told many people on the site this but since Dec. 31st of last year I've gone from 240-245 to 144 as of this morning. All of this is attributed to my own self learning. I am 5'7" tall and 31 yrs old and I feel good. I just did day one of the insanity workout today and it kicked my butt pretty good but I'm gonna stick with it. Based on the information from myplate.gov, I am at a normal weight and body fat for my age and height but I want to get that really awesome ripped look with some muscles (not too big but some good definition). Anyway, I was just wondering about the Shakeology as I plan on buying some when I get steady income as people seem to have nothing but great things to say about it and I LOVE that you can use it in recipes as well!!! Stay focused and push hard and if anybody has any suggestions...throw them my way!!!

Hey GPatrick

congratulations on the hard work and weight loss success you've had! That was some impressive results and dedication to your goal.

I'm assuming you are discussing the shakeology recipes for making shakes. I would think you could use those combinations of ingredients to make any shake and add a scoop of protein powder, I couldnt say what it would taste like however, and the benefits of shakeology wouldnt be there. I understand your financial situation is an issue but I would suggest trying Shakeology at some point in the future to see what you think. I use protein powder, and have tried a few different meal replacement shakes. I am currenlty using shakeology for the past 2 months and like it.

Feel free to buddy request me, I'd love to hear how you are doing and how you got such great results.
