Hello guys,
I do my workout "insanity" in the morning with empty stomach and after the work out i take my drink then get in the shower then eat breakfast.

The question is, is it good idea to work with empty stomach?

i thought i read somewhere to burn more fat.emoticonemoticon

I just started and that's my plan also. Did my first workout this morning then realized the time changed last night so I worked out on free time!

I heard the same thing about fat access and I think if you eat good the day before and aren't getting shaky during the workout it's fine, but I'm not qualified to say if it really works. The only time I have is first thing in the morning before everyone starts waking up so I don't have the ability to eat an hour before the workout.

Some people do well working out in the am on an empty stomach, others (like myself) not so much. I need food in the am otherwise I get nauseous. If yo don't, then keep going. Just make sure you have a good breakfast after. Avoid grabbing "anything" because you are starving. That's when I get in trouble. If I'm starving I find the closest thing, healthy or not.

Hello Sorlen,

Burning more fat while working out on an empty stomach is a myth. While you should never have a big meal before your workout, I would recommend something small before your workout to give your energy to power through your workout. 1/2 Banana or piece of toast with peanut butter... Something small like this will get you through your workout with more energy and avoid an upset stomach.
