hey everyone im a 26 year old male, who is starting P90X tomorrow and would like for people to join me in this adventure so we can push and motivate eachother through out, ive tryed before but i always fell short. this time is the REAL DEAL!! so id like for YOU to join me and lets do this thing together!!emoticon

sounds good man, im gonna start 2morrow! i hope i can do it. i love basketball to i wanan know how to try and blend basketball in while doing it, maybe play basketball instead of the cardio dvds

Day 1 Chest & Back and Ab Ripper X complete! Geeze they make it look easy on t.v./YouTube. Pretty sure I about threw-up emoticon

All and all it felt good in a sick kind of way. I have a long way to go. I haven't done pullups in years and it was a lot easier when I was a child without all this extra weight pull up. My goal is to try harder tomorrow. I could have gone a little harder the first half, but didn't want to run out of gas half way through. I did go to failure on everything in the 2nd half so maybe I made up for it. At least I will have my reps and weight determined for next time.

I hope you all had a good workout as well. 89 more days to hit this hard and at the end we will have no regrets!

good stuff man!! i pushed it back a day i started today! (tuesday) i got thru all of chest and back, and about half of ab ripper x, ab ripper x is tough!!! chest and back was to! im pretty sore how about u!? how many pullups and pushups did u do! 89 more days!!

I just started P90X for the first time on Monday, I did the chest and back with the abripperx on Monday but today decided to switch to the lean phase shedule, so today I did cardio X, not as bad as Insanity cardio, but still a great workout. Im still sore from Monday's workout! emoticon

Day 2: Plyo is in the bag and I broke a nice sweat.I was pretty sore at work today and tried to remind myself to stretch my arms and chest as much as I could. It really feels good in a sick kind of way, but if someone pokes my chest I might explode on them. As far as pullups and pushups here is what I did:

Round 1:
Standard Push - 13
WF Pull - 4
Mill push - 10
Rev chin up - 3
Wide Fly push - 12
Close Grip pull up - 1
Decline push up - 6
Diamond push - 5
Dive Bomber - 8

Round 2:
Standard Push - 11
WF Pull - 7 assisted
Mill push - 5
Rev chin up - 6 assisted
Wide Fly push - 10
Close Grip pull up - 5 assisted
Decline push up - 5
Diamond push - 5
Dive Bomber - 4

I have a long way to go, but really need to do this for myself and family.

I also started Monday, but I did the wrong video lol! I did the one from Phase 2... Got the videos from my bro and they were out of order. So I did the ab ripper x and the chest, shoulders, and triceps... Only survived a little of that video. Did great on the ab ripper though!

Today was plyometrics (11/06/12) and oh man did it hurt. I could only do half of the video, and now my abs are on fire from monday and my legs are on fire from tuesday lol.

the nutrition side is the harder than the workouts! I do pretty good throught the week...the weekends require more work though.

Today my workout was shoulders and arms with abripper x...that abripper is a killer!!

Day 3 Shoulders & Arms Ab Ripper X complete!
This was probably my best day so far. My whole core and upper torso are on fire, but once I was done stretching I was able to lift the weights with a full range of motion comfortably without any strength loss. Straightening my arms in two days may be close to impossible, but I really torched my arms tonight and had a good time with it. I actually did better tonight on Ab Ripper X than I did the first. I'm not saying it is easy, but for some reason had a little more in the tank for some reason. As far as the diet goes I have been doing pretty good keeping it clean. My wife still eats leftover Halloween candy around me, but I have resisted so far.

Tomorrow is a Yoga day. I hear it is actually a lot tougher than it sounds. I am assuming anything included in the program will never be easy and will push you as hard as you let it. Let's keep pushing play,it will be so worth it.

Nice! My abs hurt a little today unti I started the Ab Ripper again. Oddly enough a lot of the lifting thing was stuff that I did already, and in higher reps. So I had to push myself much harder during some of the weights.

DAY 3 EVERYONE!!! abs and core are killing me from ab ripper x, i only got about 35 minutes done of shoulders and arms, there both killing me!! i feel great tho! drinking a whey protein shake right now and making a turkey burger for added protein, anyone got any tips on eating? a healthy and cheaper way, ive been eating alot of chicken and greens, trail mix for snacks, lots of water, apples bananas, beef here and there, protein shake(gold standard) waffles and whole wheat bagels for bfest

Yoga done! Thats a long workout!! I had trouble with my balance on some of it.Actally fell over at one point lol! I eat yogurt with strawberries and a banana for breakfast, salad and shakeology for lunch and stuff like turkey burger for dinner, snacks are usually banana or granola...

haha awesome, i did shoulders and arms today, i dindt have time to fit in ab ripper x but im gonna do it 2morrow morning with YOGA, is it hard? its my first time doing it, thats funny cuz i had a turkey burger right after my workout 2day

Yoga complete. It is pretty tough in the beginning, but once your body starts getting used to the pressure you are putting on it, it actually feels really good. I am really relaxed right now as I am writing this. Don't get me wrong it was tough and there were moments that I hated, but once you see the time run out in the bottom corner you realize it was worth it.

It is pretty long and you are going to push your core to limits tomorrow if you include Ab Ripper X. Good luck and keep pushing!

Some Yoga moves are pretty uncomfortable but will get better the more you do them...at least thats what I am hoping! Tonight I did Legs and Back with Abripper X. Those one legged wall squats are a killer!!

I hear you on those Yoga moves. Me and the word flexibility do not belong in the same sentence, so it may be one of the more important exercises for me in this program. I too completed Legs and Back with Abripper X tonight. This is the first day since we all began that I really did not want to push play. I have been tempted all day with junk food, beer, candy, ..... you name it and I probably had access to it today. I stayed strong though and I am really glad I did. Once I pushed play I realized I really did want to do it. I believe the next 90 days will not only make my body stronger, but also my mind. Keep up the good work gang! I'm glad you are here with me.

p.s. I have already lost 5 lbs. Not too bad for being sore all week and feeling like 6-8 reps are killing me. All I want for Christmas is to be able to do 10 unassisted pullups on each exercise for Chest & Back day!
