Hi all, what should be my correct intake of calories a day for p90x2?

I'm into week 7 on phase2 of p90x2 but my dad has advised me to up my calorie intake so i don't lose weight, results are there, upper body is building but i don't want to lose muscle mass, abs are getting tighter by the day. I'm taking in 2600 calories a day and doing p90x2 6 days a week with sunday as my rest day but i feel ill be burning of 600plus calories per workout.

Can you advise me what my correct calories intake should be for p90x2 as i do not want to lose weight, i want to bulk my arms up slightly, i want that lean look. I'm 30 years old, 5 foot 12 inchs tall and roughly about 11 stone 6lbs in weight. I wasn't sure how you calculate the calorie intake on p90x2 so ill wait to see what advice you can offer me, thanks.

Hi Dan,

I calculated the following using: 160 lbs, 6 ft, 30 years old.

In order to keep your weight the same while working out hard with this program, you should be taking in around 2748 calories a day. In order to add or subtract a safe amount of weight then you would either add or subtract 500 calories a day to that. So looks like you are in the ballpark but maybe a slight increase would be good. Also keep your macro-nutrients (Protien/Carb/Fat) to the ratios in the program guide.

Shoot me any questions you may have.
