Nutrition and Food: Its highly recommended that we all take at least a multi-vitamin. most of us are not eating the correct portions of food or the food that we eat doesn’t have nutrient dense requirements needed. Food on the other hand is the best way to get our supplements but this is very hard and especially when you are first starting out. Each Beachbody program comes with a diet guide, read it and ask questions please!!!
WATER : Make sure you are staying hydrated!!! when you think you've had enough remember... There are people that say we don't need any more than 64 oz. of water and while that might be true for someone that doesn't work out, we are not those people. So drink up. If you don't care for water or just want to add some flavor...try adding a slice of lemon, orange & even cucumber to it yumm!
SLEEP: Sleep is key for weight loss & Most people have too many things going in their life and sleep is the first thing to take a hit. If you think about our bodies as machines then Exercise is the engine running, Food and Nutrients are the fuel, water is the coolant and sleep is the repair and maintenance. If you don't repair the machine it will break down, so get your sleep & a cat nap if you can too...purrfect...LOL
GOALS: This means it is time to pull out the tape measure and the camera. Lots of people focus on the scale for their one and only measurement. I do have to admit Its hard for even me to leave the scale alone. But accept the fact that this is the worst measurement to go by. Body Fat and inches will tell you success. Thats wear I saw my success at first & Im glad I pulled out my measuring tape because the scale didn't move for 2 weeks but 2.5 inches did on my waist
