I have a couple questions...
I have a couple questions...
insanity stretches cross trainers burning feet

1. Are there any foot stretches that I can do to help minimize the burning I have when I do INSANITY? It isn't just during the warm up; it's through the whole program. It gets so bad I have to stop many times. I have tried rolling my foot over a tennis ball and I have tried massaging them, neither works very well.

2. Are there any good types of cross trainers for flat feet? This could tie in with number one...I have athletic shoes with sport insoles and they don't seem to be cutting it.

Thanks for your help emoticon

Hi,

You know, I had the same issues during my first round of Insanity and stretching or changing shoes didn't help for me but switching to either barefoot or using Vibram Five Fingers did the trick. It helped immensely and that is all I use now. I have many folks on my team that also use the Vibrams and they love them. If you can go barefoot without your feet hurting then you will love the Vibrams. I know that doesn't answer your question exactly but hope it helps. If you have any other questions pop me a message.

Jo

Hi there

I also have flat feet and I love the Nike cross trainers, I feel in my case they provide the right type of support, I also have the vibram five fingers, but those do not provide enough support at least for me and specially not for Insanity, there is a lot of plyo type moves and having flat feet it is just to hard on the foot.

Jo, I am afraid to do Insanity barefoot. I am still working on my landings...lol I have been curious about them, so I'll have to look into them.
