So last night me and my wife finished watching Alphas Season 1 on Netflix. Great series! Looking forward to watching the second season. It starts out kind of slow but really picks up the pace mid way through the season. On to my workout!

11/6/2012 - Core Synergistics 2. This video gets harder the better in shape I am. I am finaly able to do Half Angels unmodified. I can only do 6 max. Man, that is a hard move. I also can do the stability ball burpees correctly and I have enough strength to do one legged medicine ball burpess. Basicaly a diamond pushup on med ball one legged in burpee style. Yeah, I know. Crazy hard! Only did about 4 before the timer went out. It will take some practice to get faster.

11/7/2012 - Plyocide. This video is gold. Fast feet chair jumps. In chair pose hold muscles isometricaly. Moving your feet fast for an opposing cardio burn and then an explosive jump occasionaly. Just brilliant. Every move in this video is just genius! I am blown away but the thought process that went into these videos. Then the resistance stretching at the end. Wow! This is why X2 is my favorite. Just incredible how the body gets worked in such a different dynamic way.

11/9 - Total Body X and ABX2

So I was 191 the last time I did X2. I got really good with my frame. I'm 214 now after my bulking phase. So I was off on a few exercises. Mule kick burpees I only got 4. 2 med ball side arm balance pushups I only got 10. Now my power type moves were solid. 4 point pull ups I did 9 while dead lifting my frame and not using the lower half at all. 1 arm chest press felt easy with 35 pounds so I'll increase to 50. I was surprised my balance was still decent with warrior 3 kickbacks and curls. Although my balance on 1/2 chair deep swimmer presses was really bad. I was impressed that I can do 8 levers. I could have done ten but my hands were burning. The pullup bar was really cold and I have terrible calouses.

ABX2 was O.K. Could not finish row your boat, tornados, and seated slow bicycles at the end.

Supercool, Alex. Sorry I didn't reply right away. My playstation 3 had the dreaded yellow light of death. So I had to tear it apart this weekend and fix it. First person shooter, awesome! Have you had a chance to look at Halo 4, yet?

It's great that your fiance is doing it with you. That helps ALLOT! I'll have to look up blizzcon2013. We have dragon con in Atlanta. There was a guy there who had nerf footballs on leashes. He was a nerf herder. Loved the star wars reference. Thought that was very funny.

P90X is a grind. The best advice I can give you is keep pushing play. In the beginning you'll be all amped up. About day 45 the hour to an hour and a half every day for 6 days will begin to take it's toll. Always push play. Even if you only do 15 minutes and walk away frustrated. Keep pushing play. Almost like Dory from Finding Nemo will Just keep swimming.

got you both beat. i am a gamer. i have all of the current systems. yes, even a 3DSXL. will hold off on a Wii U until bayonetta 2 comes out. i also watch anime...LOTS! i watch american animation too, any "good" animation. i also have a thing for sci-fi & horror. i like to read comics/manga!

i did 2 rounds of "insanity", "tai cheng", and i just started phase 2 of "rev abs". i'm planning on "P90X" after "rev abs", then "les mils combat" for the spring/summer. i also go to the gym pretty regular.

11/14 - Plyocide.

Death by jumping. Not really. Nice video. Gets my heart rate up. Did better than last week. I've gotten really good at the soccer move in the middle with the medicine ball. Legs are dead. The 12 minutes of stretching at the end is money. My body feels so much better.

Lolypop chainsaw is awesome! Interesting game choices..

O.K., so she doesn't do "public" per say but hey it still takes guts to dress up. I'm always impressed with how well thought out some of the costumes are.

P90X is pretty awesome. Just finished my third time through it. Highly, highly recommend it. Doing P90X2 now.

Do you have an XBox or PS3?

i'm not starting P90X until january, but i've been previewing the dvd's. it looks like fun and i'm getting stoked for it!! maybe, if the stupid world doesn't end, & we get an x-mas...i'll have "holiday" money to pay for it.

i have both an xbox 360 & 2 ps3's (original 60 gig & the new 500 gig that came with assassin's creed III)...also a Wii. i have some older systems too, and all of the hand helds. the Wii-u comes out tomorrow, but i don't do "standing in line" so i'll wait until bayonetta 2, the game that sold me on getting a Wii-u in the first place.
