Asylum and Whey/Recovery Drink...
Ok, so the Asylum plan pretty much tells you when to eat your starches, proteins, etc.... but what about your recovery drink and whey protein? Do you eat you 1500-1800 calories and add these in addition to the 1500-1800?

No. Unfortunately there are no free passes. You count the protein shakes and recovery drinks into your total caloric intake.

But also, 1800 calories doesnt seem like much. I would like to build muscle and shed some fat and I am eating more then this during P90X. I would assume I would burn alot more calories doing asylum. 1500-1800 just doesnt sound like much.

The asylum and P90X calorie formulas are essentially the same, so if you were eating more under P90x and dramatically less now, perhaps you made a mistake in your calculations?
