Hey Tony,

After hitting the weights with P90X, the next day my muscles are incredibly sore. Should I stretch them or will that hurt my muscle gains?

Hi Tony, in one of your one on one videos you said that it was better for your biceps to do more reps with less weight, so do you think i should do that or just keep with the 8-10 reps like in P90X?

Hi Tony

1) Your absolutely awesome - P90X changed my life

2) I really struggle with the chest & back routine.

If you asked me to get down and do max reps: 20 push ups (military, diamond etc) or pull-ups (12-15) I can do it

However with the routine I barely struggle to get about 8-10 reps on each exercise with good form otherwise I burn out too quickly. Sometimes I experience pain in my left wrist if I push myself too hard during this video.

Is there any way I can improve my ability to do this routine as I have completed p90X several times and this is the one video that I struggle with the most.

Btw I am 6"5, 88Kg and push up type exercises were always very difficult for me until I did a few rounds of P90X. I seem to have mesomorph lower body and ectomorph upper body.

Hi Tony,

There was 2 week break when I could not exercise and complete my 1st round of P90X.
Should I finish 3 weeks left on P90X round, or start another round from the beginning?

1. What is your opinion on pre-workout supplements, specificaly those involving production of nitric oxide? Have you ever used them?

2. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?


P.S. - Been using Tony Horton Kitchen for several months now, LOVE IT!

Hi Tony

Thanks for making all your fitness programs well rounded in all aspects of fitness. I just started the 12th week of P90X and once complete will be starting P90X2. After the 13th week should I take another week off then start X2 or start X2 after the 13th week?
Also I have been using Beachbody MAX Creatine for about a month with R&R after intense workouts. There are no other directions on the label for duration. Most of the info I have read recommends 2 months on and 1 month off. What is your recommendation?
I am very healthy – age 41, height 5’9”, weight 136, currently at 12.7% body fat. Overall fitness goal is to be healthy and have the show and go.

Tony,

I'm in Phase 2 of X2 and I'm loving all the instability/balance exercises! My question is about forearm tightness. I notice after doing the 4 med ball pushups or the Impossible/Possible, my forearms are extremely tight and my pinkies go numb. It goes away after a couple of days, but I was wondering if that's normal?

Hey Tony, I finished P90X a while back and I didn't get the tone and muscle definition I would have liked to see in my arms. Any advice? I'm also doing it now but just for the upper body and still not seeing much results emoticon Thank you very much!

Hello Tony!

I've been doing P90X for quite some time now, along with subbing Insanity and Insanity: The Asylum cardio routines for some of the P90X cardio days. Do you believe this is a good idea and will help provide more "push" from the cardio days?

Also one of the major questions I have, and possibly many other men that have some excess weight, is getting rid of the "fat" in the chest area or the always hated "manboobs" What is a crucial way in-to getting rid of this?

I would like to note I am following the fat shredder diet and hitting my ratios of 50/30/20 almost every single day.

Tony,

I've lost over 60 pounds with P90X & P90X2 and couldn't be happier! However, I really want my stomach to be lean, but still have this 1/2" layer of fat on it. How can I burn that off? More Ab routines? I'm currently in my 2nd Round of P90X2.

Since I know you travel quite a bit... What do you recommend for someone who wants to eat healthy but is having a hard time as they travel all of the time for work continuously living out of a suitcase?

Hey Tony

P90x is the best! I have lost over 100 lbs in the past year and will with out a doubt get fit for life!

Quick question though. I still have trouble doing the yoga x. Are there any tips you might have for it or maybe another yoga program aimed closer at beginners?
