Hello Everyone, after thanksgiving I'm starting a turbofire ChaX hybrid, just looking for support here. Not trying to market or ell anything. Just want a group of people that are committed to doing this hybrid for support . Especially during the holidays so that we can keep everyone accountable, if interested comment below. I didn't like the one outlined in the book. I'm finishing up insanity on the 24th and it just didn't seem intense enough. Chalene's sister Janelle made a 2aday schedule for people looking for a little more intensity. Here it is! emoticon

I'm starting mine on Monday the 12th. I think I am going to stick to the program in the TF book for now, but I'm defintely keeping the 2-a-day's schedule to work on after I finish the 20 week program in the book. I use both free weights and resistance bands. I think free weights are more challenging, but sometimes they just aren't heavy enough for me so I use the thicker bands instead. I've got a whole area set up in my basement to work out in, and friends coming over to work out with me!! What are your goals?? I'm a size 16 right now and want to be in the single digits by June 1st because I am in a wedding emoticon Best of luck to you!!!

Beth, I'm using resistance bands right now and weighted gloves with my turbofire workouts. but for the challenge I think I will just use weighted gloves once in a while and use the free weights I have for the chax. I am looking forward to the buddy system. I can't wait to start!! Does everyone want to check in once a day??? I also drink shakeology daily...if any of you have facebook I have a fitness page Mrskatosfitnessforum...please like the page. we can check in on there as well and share fitness support and recipes as well!! I'm so excited for this little group!!!

sarah!! are you doing the TF/Chax program?? I think I am going to jenelle summer challenge..I agree I love working with free weights, last Nov. I was a size 16, I have dropped 1 size...I am size 14 right now, but I can finally buy clothes at "the Buckle" am in a size 31-32 jeans. My goal would be to be in a size 28! I drink shakeology daily and that has realy helped with gravings. I also battle a underactive thyroid...but I noticed that I do need to workout everyday or else I slip into my bad habits, I am a sugar addict!!! Good luck to you all!!

Thanks for the advice! I got the weighted gloves and have not been brave enough to use them yet in my Turbo Fire work outs. I drink a shake pretty much daily but usually not on the weekends. I am just finishing up some of my favorite work outs and will probably start the Hybrid on Monday. We don't have any big Thanksgiving plans so I might as well start. I sometimes repeat weeks anyway if I don't get it right the first time!

Well after about 3 1/2 months of Turbo Fire I did the results and lost 1 to 1 1/2 inches in my waist, arms, and thighs. My muffin top is about gone and I can get back into a pair of size 6 jeans I had not been able to in a long time. I feel better and more healthy! Definitely motivation to keep going and start the TF/CHAX t

I'm doing Jenelle Summers's hybrid as well! I'm in week 6, going strong. The scale is not budging much but I'm pretty sure I'm losing inches (I never measured at the beginning emoticon).

It's a challenge, but FUN!

I've been fairly consistent with the Janelle Summers turbofire/CX hybrid for the last 3weeks but missed a few days here and there due to travel, the hurricane (no power) etc. thinking of restarting so I can really push it in the workouts and looking for a group for accountability. emoticon

Hey - I'd like to join too! I actually started the CLX/TF hybrid this week, so I'll be just a little ahead of everyone else.

I'm doing CLX weight lifting 3X a week, like in the book. But on the other 3 days, I'm doing Turbo Fire cardio. So for me, that's Saturday, Monday and Wednesday doing CLX. And Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday doing Turbo Fire. I'm finishing up my first week of this schedule and so far, I LOVE it! Chalene is my favorite trainer anyway, so I can do any of her workouts and not get bored. emoticon

Glad to see the new posts! We all need the support. I started this week, but starting slow becasue I had pulled something in my elbow (like tennis elbow). But it is feeling better. I will try Burn Circuit 1 tomm. So far I have just done the Abs and whooo wheeee do I feel it. MMOGETSFIT I like the way you are mixing it up! That sounds easier then trying to do both in one day!

I'd like to join in, I've got one week left on the TurboFire schedule and then I was going to do a hybrid program after my Recover week.

I don't have any free weights at all. I think I need to figure out what I need.

Yea, I don't have the time to do two workouts in one day, plus I'd get burnt out if I did that. So I figure I'll do the CLX circuits as it's outlined in the book, every other day. And substitute Turbo Fire cardio on the other days. So far I really like it!

Tomorrow is my 'rest' day, then it's back at it on Saturday.

Hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving! emoticon

Welcome Everyone!! SO glad to see this group growing!! Especially during the holidays!! We are going to kill this!! I am starting with the hypbrid on Monday..I'm going to do the original hybrid that is on the beachbody site...my workout room is being fixed due to water damage..so I am going to have to get creative and workout other places in the house while the contractors are here..I am also going to try and get 10,000 steps in a day...should be fun...Good Luck to everyone emoticon)) I have a fitness forum on facebook is anyone is interested..we can also post on there as well...I am facebook a lot due to the private workout group that I have...my free fitness forum that is free to everyone is mrskatos fitness forum. Did anyone purchase any of the workouts in holiday sale??? I was thinking about power 90 or body gospel.
