Okay so here it is. My first workout ever, is Insanity. Im on day 8, and my feet, and back Calves HURT. They are not sore like muscle wise..they honestly just hurt when I put some pressure on them. I JUST bought Cross Trainers from Under Armor...Do you all think this will fix the problem? Any suggestions or advice? Im working out in my basement and im using a mat as well.

cross trainers would really be the only suggestion for the feet. and the beachbody jump mat might help too.

but what do you mean they hurt when you put pressure on the calf? are you streching enough? its probably just your legs being sore from starting insanity. are you taking anything to relive your muscles after workouts like the results and recovery formula, whey protein, or shakeology after workouts (you can check those out by clicking here)? other then that i would just do extra streches.

never saw/knew that before so thanks (saw this other coach with like the biggest thread on here post his link on literally every thread with a cimple spam copy and paste comment so i didnt think me actually trying to help ppl was a problem.... but yeah i read that he was on day 8... i know i had a lot of questions when i was on day 8 so just wanted to help)


oh and by the way that wasnt in the terms and conditions contract when i signed up. so they might wanna get on that. so maybe ppl can know when theyre actually breaking a term of condition. just a thought? also it has that thread under the nutrition page which ive never even been to. if they want people to know they should send every coach an email when they sign up or put it in every thread category, otherwise it really isnt my fault. (just saying, thanks for informing me on the guideline though)

i wasnt trying to bring you into a coaching circle. i answered your question using a good amount of time.... i asked you 3 questions and 3 suggestions ? lol. i dont know how telling someone to stretch, get a jump mat, or drink something for your muscles to recover is bringing them into some coaching circle... at the end i put join my challenge thread if you want because i just started it and i would have liked to join one my first round but didnt know about them.

Hey Scott,

I'm no doctor but there's sore and there's SORE...and it sounds like you're the second one. If I were you, I would check in with a doctor as it sounds entirely possible that you may have strained something. I always err on the side of caution, if you have strained something, you need to rest your injury versus pushing on and injuring yourself more. Take care of yourself.

Scott,

Sounds like you have some microfiber tears that have not have time to heal. You may want to look into getting a cheap foam roller and then foam rolling the heck out of the area. You can hit youtube video search unless you own P90X2.

Maybe take a few days off.
