thank you i kinda was leaning that way, however i forgot to mention the only soreness is lower body, mainly hamstrings, no upper body where i am altering anything, and honestly if anything my intensity is done for some reason, im having more trouble this time through having to take more breaks from legs getting tired to fast.This is all really odd to me, A year ago I was a college athlete and haven't changed anything since then and am having some trouble getting through it this time.

Sounds like it's option 2. The better your range of motion and skill with the movements, the better the workout.
