I have completed Insanity and am considering P90X but I am concerned it will affect my golf swing through stiffness.

Can some advise me if I can reduce the weights used and achieve similar results so I can maintain my golfing standards but improve my fitness / physique?

Wold you recommend this or insanity asylum?

My aim Is o lose that last bit of weight on my stomach and be lean!

Thanks folks,
Mark

Hey man it always wouldnt hurt to do another round of insanity or even asylum. As for p90x I dont think you will have to big of a problem being stiff, i know i dont. And you should use a weight that is light enough to complete the set in proper form while also struggling almost failing on the last few reps of the set.

To minimize soreness you can always stretch to elongate the muscle and push out the lactic acid through the day, Ice bath or ice bag after working out (usually only done if you do heavy weight), or you can do the temparture shock method which I used a few times. Hot bath, ice bag, hot rag, ice bag. etc...

If you are concerned about the stiffness or soreness I would either stick with another round of INSANITY or if you want to go P90X go for lower weight with higher reps. I won't say that you will have no soreness doing that because everyone is different but you should have less muscle tissue breakdown that way while still burning caloires.

Hey Mark,

Agree with the comments above as well. I am a golfer and have actually found that P90X has helped my flexibility as well...Yoga and all the stretching that comes with it. If you really are focusing on loosing weight, another round of Insanity is good as well. Either way you will be fine...focus on your diet though...

Also -- Coach Justin knows his stuff so reach out to him for advice...
