There are tons of Insanity threads that you could join. Look under motivation and find the one that fits you.

Hey Jstrokes!

Great job for hopping on the Insanity Train!! This program is tough as hell at first, but if you stick with it your body will get stronger with each workout and you will see results!

I actually have a great thread going on right now, and would love to have you join. We really have a nice group of people here and it's a great way to meet people who are doing the same thing and facing the same challenges. Click here to check it out!

Hey there!!! Congratulations on getting started, this a wonderful place for all sorts of information and we are all here to help. emoticon

Remember this equation:

FITNESS + NUTRITION + SUPPORT = SUCCESS

1. Make sure you drink enough water, not enough hydration will deplete your energy quickly. The average adult needs at least 80+ ounces of water a day, then additional for exercise. Try to have 16-24 ounces 2 hours prior, 4-8 ounces of water for every 15 min of exercise during your workout, and then another 16-24 ounces after your workout.

2. Sleep!!!! You need 6-8 hours of sleep every night, this is an important time for your muscles to rest, repair and grow. Lack of sleep will seriously hurt your workouts.

3. Track what you can do during the workouts. For example, if you can only do the first 30 seconds of an exercise, write that down or remember, and the next time push yourself to get another 10+ seconds. Each time you'll do more and more, and you'll gain strength very quickly with this program!!

4. Be sure to do the Fit Test!!! This was my favorite part!! I loved doing this and seeing how much better, faster, and stronger I was getting...its soooooo awesome!!

5. NUTRITION!!!!! THIS IS 80% OF YOUR PROGRAM!!! You need to make sure your nutrition is dialed in. You're body will require enough fuel to burn through these workouts and if you don't know how much fuel you need, or what type of fuel...you will not get the most out of this program. Calculating nutrition, calories, macronutrients is something I do for everyone on my team and I'd love to help you too!! One thing I would like point out, nutrition isn't just about the number of calories you eat. Its also about your macronutrients. Many people make this mistake. You could eat 1800 calories, but if you aren't eating the right %'s of proteins, carbs, and fats...you aren't going to get the results you want.

6. Support...a fitness journey is much more successful when you have a constant stream of support, motivation, and information. I have a thread created, lots of different programs out there, and we provide all of these things for each other...its a great place to be. You can post your questions here and they are answered very quickly, by many people. Here is the link, just pop on over and post that you'd like to join. We'd love to have you!!

Insanity and More!!

I'll send you a buddy request so you can ask me anything you'd like

Have an amazing day...I'll talk to you soon!!
