Hello,
I would like to know your opinion on the following. What happens if someone who is doing P90X every day does not get the minimum amount of calories it needs, for example in my case the 1800 daily. Is it possible that it will have a negative effect in the way the body looses exces weight? or the weight should go away as you are eating less calories than what you are burning but there will be other consequences like lack of energy, etc?
Thanks!

Hi! Yes not eating enough can cause you not too lose weight. If you eat low enough for a period of time your body can go into starvation mode. This can affect weight loss as if prolonged can have other detrimental health effects. Your body needs nutrition. Are you doing P90X? What is your goal? What are your challenges?
Happy to help!
Cheers,
Christina
Hi! Thanks for your time and the information. I am doing P90X I am on week 3 now, never skipped a workout and I am following the diet strictly (in term of foods) but I am not sure I am getting to the 1800 calories daily.
I am already pretty lean at 12% Body Fat, and my main goal when started with P90X was just to get my body moving again. I can see myself with more strength than when I started and my cardio also has improved a lot since week 1 doing polymetrics.
What I am not sure is if that will reflect in the outside as I have the feeling I am not getting enough food in my body, but the strange part is that for most of the times my body does not ask me for more food (I have to admit there are times when it does and I say to myself "well, in an hour I have my next meal, I can wait till then)
Now that I know this might be an issue I will try my best to eat more, and more often.
Thanks a lot!
