P90X. Push ups are making me too bulky at the top, tiny legs and botto
Can someone please help. I'm new to P90X and I'm not having any trouble doing most of the DVDs, except completing the yoga (smile). Anyway, I am losing like crazy from my butt down and am bulking like crazy on the top half of my body due to all the pushups I am doing. So my body does NOT look proportioned. Plus I'm having trouble losing my tum tum. I can't afford all the shakes and protein bars but I believe the recovery is essential. Please tell me if I can tailor my chest workout and diet plan. The meal plans have sooo many ingredients. They are really expensive. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Never heard of this problem. If you are really bulking up in your chest and arms too much then lay off the upper body work. But it's physiologically impossible that you're losing muscle in your legs and at the same time gaining muscle up top. Or is it that you're losing some fat down below and muscling up above?
