I will be starting P90x Monday morning. What is getting me is what time I should eat my meals. Breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, and dinner.
Plus how many hours I shouldn't eat before you have to go to bed?

I workout when I wake up a 3:30, creatine as soon as that's over. Usually my protein shake (breakfast) gets drank on my way to work at 6. First break is at 9, lunch at midnight, break at 4, then I eat whatever is left on my way home at 7. I eat the entire time I'm on breaks and lunch. I save my protein bar and snack for the ride home. They're much easier to nibble while driving than a salad emoticon

I believe you're supposed to eat every 3 - 4 hours. I don't have access to my nutrition guide at the moment. But definitely wait an hour after working out to eat. And vice versa, wait an hour after eating before working out. Especially important on Plyo days!

Good luck to you!

The way I work my eating schedule is I like to try and eat every 2 - 3 hours. When I wake up, I like to eat right away, some carbs, or cereal for example. As Denise stated above, if you feel you can workout on an empty stomach, then by all means do so as soon as you get out of bed, I just feel I lack the energy without something to eat first. Again as Denise already stated, don't eat at least an hour before your workout, especially with Plyometrics. As for bed, I try to eat no sooner than 3 hours before bed.

Hope this helps, and follow your nutrition guide. If you have any questions, all you have to do is ask. I also have an accountability and motivation group if you would ever like the extra help. See you there!
