Hi, I'm Coach Jersey Jack and I am here to help you with your fitness journey. It is a journey we will take together, because I will be working out everyday with you. I will be doing P90X but no matter your program (Insanity, P90X, P90X2, BBL, TURBOFIRE, etc.), it does not matter. Because we are all here for the same reason. To get fit. To get healthier. To be everything we imagine of ourselves. I've learned a lot on my journey, and I am here to share it with you and guide you throughout your journey.

I'll be doing classic. I'm pretty out of shape, but I'm hoping just to stick with it everyday - even if the moves are somewhat modified. Like Tony says, "Just keep pressing play!" I'll try to post as often as I can.

I will be starting P90x tomorrow as well and would love to be part of a group going thru this with me.

My bf started a month ago so is already a phase ahead of me. The support from him will be invaluable, but I'd love to also have some people that are starting the same time I am. Others experiencing the same things I am at the same time will help me know I'm not alone! emoticon

I know I have a lot to learn, change and push through, but I'm finally ready to start doing it.

Hi Team

Started my first day of X. I've been doing Slim in 6 for the last 8 week and thought I was ready for X. It was tough but I kept pushing through and 'did my best and forgot the rest". Well actully I did take advantage of the "rests". It felt great after the workout was over, knowing that I did what I could. Very empowering. I'm going to remember to "Push Play Today" tomorrow and going foward. Doing whatever I can is better than not doing anything.

Day 1 complete. Well, sort of. This should be obvious, but... Attempting to work out after not really eating anything all day is A BAD idea. I didn't quite make it to the half way point before I got sick and started shaking to the point that I couldn't continue. So, not a great first day back into this round, but a good example of what NOT to do in the future.

Hope everyone else had a better day!

Feeling good for the first day....Doing TMT for the last week was a good warm up! Pushups kicked my butt, but they always do. Lots of room to improve!! ;)

drstevick hope your feeling better today. Just some advice - nutritrion is just as important if not more so than the workout. Without adequate nutrition, you wont get the results youre looking for. Think of nutrition as fuel for the body. Without fuel, your car would stall, and so will you. If you need any nutrition advice, please let me know. How many calories should you be eating daily? If you don't know, tell me your weight, height and age and I can give you a rough estimate of how many calories you should be getting. I'm here to help all you guys.

Hey Team

On the advice of my coach, I stopped the lean version of X and switched over to day 2 of classic - Pylometrics. Loved the workout. Tough but kept pushing through. Heart rate maxed out at 157 (the highest I should be) but burned 600 calories. I hope the other workouts are as much fun. My coach also suggested upping my calories to 1900.

Woke up a bit stiff today...need to do some good stretching. I know my weak points, and know that I need to modify them for now. All pushups are done on my knees after the first one. That'll change when I gain some strength. emoticon The only one I really didn't do was the decline pushups...is there even a modification for that?!?!

Looking forward to Plyo later today (Ha! Ok, just a little sarcasm there ;)

Plyo X... My favorite workout. Yeah, I know, I'm sure that some people would call me crazy for saying that. But I love how I feel after that workout. How else could I burn 776 calories, avg 151/max 182 heart rate, and have so much fun???

Usually do my workouts right after work, but ended up later than I had planned, so I had to move my workout later in the evening. Let's see ifI can get to sleep at a decent time now, lol.

Did better on fuel today; Shakology for breakfast; Subway for lunch, and chicken tacos for dinner. Need to work on the hydration part though, and replace some of my coffee with water.

Hello from Italy! (so excuse me for any language mistake... :-)
I started Xp90 on Nov 5. This is my second week.
My story is quite similar to most of the people who started with this program: I was quite active when young, then university, wife... kid... result: big belly that avoid to see my toes (almost)... I prepared myself physically for 2 weeks before starting X90P. The first week has been tough but I go through it and feel quite better even if with some pain (but not big ones as I was afraid to). Now this second week is going much better.
My main problem was finding time to have some sport to do... it is not that easy to make sport after the whole day in office even if you understand to need it...
So, I decided to do what I really think was impossible for me: do it in the morning before going to work: every morning i wake up at 5.45... the first week was quite difficult even if not impossible... I did not have to push myself to hard to put my butt out of the bed. Now, after only a week it seems I have wake up my whole life at 5.45!!!
What I can say as far is that even if I still not have lost any pound since now... my body has already started to change: my belly is half than before (ok, I had not a big one...) and I feek 100 times better... It is really impressive to see some results only after few days.
As concern the diet, you can imagine that in Italy it is quite easier for us to have the habit to eat with olive oil and avoid unhealty food (there are not many mcdo here around...) the only risk is to eat too much pizza on saturday with my wife :-)
I will let you know about...
