My wife always says, 11:11 make a wish when the clock says, 11:11
Well today is 11/11 so my wish is to get in shape.
I am 46 years old, 5'10 and 247 lbs.
Even though I am a big guy, I know I can complete this program.
Today was day one - FIT TEST
Resting Heart Rate - 62

Start time 10:30am

Switch Kicks - 106
Power Jacks - 49
Power Knees 70
Power Jumps - 21
Globe jumps - 10
Suicide Jumps - 11
Push Up Jacks - 13
Low Plank Oblique - 26

26 minutes and 480 calories burned.

Although I am totally beat right now I am looking forward to pushing play every day for the next 2 months.

Congrats Glen on starting Insanity! I'm 46 y.o. too and we can do this!! I'm starting Phase 3 of the P90X/Insanity hybrid tomorrow and am loving it!

Great job on your fit test! You'll see improvements by the time you do the next one emoticon

Awesome fit test for a guy claiming to ber out of shape. Insanity is intense, my general rules, forget the people on the screen they have 6-pack abs and 6% body fat and they need breaks, Just do YOUR best, take breaks when you need to (and you will), modify any moves you have to and just keep pushing play. GOod luck, YOU CAN DO THIS!!

Just finished my Day 2 workout. It was difficult and I had to modify some of the moves at the end but I kept working hard throughout. Shaun T is very motivating and helpfully.

Starting Heart Rate 72

Workout

46 minutes, Avg HR 154, Max HR 186 & Calories burner 837.

My lats are very sore right now and so are my knees. I might need to start icing my knees after each workout. I am still winded an hour after the workout.

But I will certainly be pushing play tomorrow and every day after that until I complete my Insane journey.
