I am having to fight for every single pound.
When I started this journey in 2010, the weight came off pretty easily. At least it seemed that way because I didn't really have anything else going on. I dropped this kids off at school, headed to the gym, and did cardio and weights for 1.5 hours. I lost 70 pounds in about 6 months.

Fast forward to now. I maintained 60 or so pounds of the above loss. I really started hitting it hard again in mid-September, and have gotten back to my 70 pound loss. It seems so much HARDER though! I have a LOT more going on now (work FT, studying for the CPA exam, etc.)

I get up at 4am. I workout at home in the mornings 5-6 days a week, and run on the treadmill 3 times a week (on my lunch break.) The weight loss seems so SLOW (8 pounds since mid-September.)

My goals are more than just losing weight now. I am training for the Tough Mudder Carolinas next September. I need to lose 90-95 pounds between now and then in order to compete, but I have a lot of physical strength, endurance, and flexibility to attain as well. I HAVE to do this for myself, but I wish it would be easier! LOL

I guess I am really just rambling, but I think that it being hard is good - I don't ever want to go back to where I was.

I have to congratulate you on your weight loss so far. That is incredible and you seem very motivated and I KNOW you will reach your goal.

I also want to say that 8 pounds since mid-september may be slower than when you started, but that's really not slow. That's a great pace and there's no way you will not meet your goal if you keep it up.

I want to do a tough mudder too! Thanks for the inspiration emoticon

Thanx for the motivation! Sometimes knowing how long it will take is enough! I hope all is well with you and keep up the good work! emoticon
