Good Evening Everyone!!

Well today I finished round 1 of Insanity with AWESOME results! The 19th of Nov I will be starting a new round, a few of my friends will be joining me on the Nov 19th start date so I have started a Facebook group. WOW! Those are some really great results! Congratulations! I would join your Nov. 19th group but I'm still in this round of P90X until Dec. 15th. I would still love to have another buddy for the extra motivation!

Hello everyone, My name is Tag. I'll be starting Insanity on November 16, 2012. Weird to start on a Friday I know, I'm working around my work schedule. I need Thursday to be my rest day, this way I can stay motivated and not miss any days. I've done Insanity a couple of times before, but never to day 63. My goal is to complete Insanity and step into the Asylum!

Hello Tag emoticon Thank you for the compliments, I actually love Insanity and taking the week off has really brought home to me how much i rely on my schedule. I like knowing what I am doing each day as far as my workouts go. this week has been boring in comparison

Hi there! I'd like to try to start again on the 19th too. I started last month and LOVED it but got an ankle injury so I had to stop for a few weeks. My ankles are feeling mostly better now and I have crosstrainers this time around so I'm going to give it my best!

Hello Everyone,
I started on the 9th, and just had my rest day yesterday. I would love to join this group to help keep me motivated.

I started P90 a few years ago, but couldn't stay motivated and stopped. I want to make it through this entire 63 day, and maybe for a second round before moving on.

By the way, those are some awesome results!

It was all I could do to get motivated tonight, but I pushed play for Pure Cardio! Another workout to mark off the calendar.

Hello and welcome MrsCopper and Jesse! My day 1 was Friday, November 16th, but I actually did my Fit Test and first Plyo Circuit on day 2. I was so busy that Friday I just didn't have time to get the Fit Test in. So I did the Fit Test in the morning and I did the plyo circuit at night. I almost skipped the workout, because I was tired and had been out all day. It was a bit much to do both in one day (just getting started) but I did not want to miss my workout or start off with such a bad habit. The Fit Test was so-so, I'll post my numbers it wasn't pretty so don't laugh emoticon The plyo circuit was hard, but I pushed through. I'm definitely "out of shape", but hey isn't that why we're doing this. Look forward to seeing your posts and keeping each other motivated!

@MrsCopper, yes having the right shoes can make all the differenc. I just purchased a pair of 2012 Nike Air Max, expensive as hell, but I look at them as an investment.

@Jesse I'm one week behind ya! Let's keep posting and stay motivated!


@EVERYONE post those Fit Test stats and if you're brave enough measurements and weight?emoticon

My brother and I started Insanity two weeks ago and our cousin was suppose to start with us also. He injured himself at work and was really bummed that he wasn’t able to start with us so we told him as soon as his doctor cleared him we would reset and start over so we could all finish together. Works out good because he just got cleared and we start Monday. It would be cool to be in a group that’s also doing it so we can all share the pain ;). Let me know if its alright if I fire you a FB request to be put in the group and I will do that.

Anyone reading this that wants to join our Facebook group is welcome, no matter when you started. Some of us are starting tomorrow and some of us already started...no big deal! Its mainly about having accountability and someone there for motivation emoticon

I didn't realize that they had group likes this to help with motivation and support to complete the Insanity program. To be honest with you I ordered the Insanity program about 3 months ago and never opened it still in the delivery box. Then I seen the late night infomercial and I said I am going to give it a shot. I know it will be hard at first but nothing is easy in life. That does sound great to join a Facebook group in order to stay motivated but I will be starting tomorrow Nov 19 Monday! I know this is going to be a long journey but it will be worth is when you can say you now have a picture of health.

Day 1 is done! Are we posting daily on here for accountability? I'll post my fit test numbers, but I'll warn you, it's not pretty:

Switch Kicks - 50 reps (apparently I counted these wrong last time, whoops!)
Power Jacks - 41
Power Knees - 60
Power Jumps - 15 (these are the worst!)
Globe Jumps - 7 rotations
Suicide Jumps - 10
Push-up Jacks - 10
Low Plank Obliques - 29

Praying my body cooperates this time. I hate working so hard for something just to have to stop from an injury emoticon

Welcome MedMan and Justin! Glad to have more people in the thread. I had Cardio Power and Resistance last night. Went ok, I'm still taking a few breaks in the warm-up, but eventually I'll be able to make it all the way through without stopping. One step at a time right? The workout overall kicked my butt good, I was on the floor by the last rep. Insanity has a way of bringing you to your knees.


@MrsCopper way to get the Fit Test in! Don't worry about your numbers at all. Unless you've been consistently working out, we're all going to have the same numbers in the beginning. As far as avoiding injury, make sure you use good form and take those breaks when you need to.

@Everyone, this is a very very crucial time. It's the first week for some, so expect to be sore. Also please please please take pictures (you don't have to post them) and do your measurements. I cannot stress this enough! Your progress is not simply measured by stepping on a scale. There are inches to be calculated and pictures show more than our eyes could ever see. Plus you see yourself everyday, so it's very hard to see any difference or change. Okay that's it for now. Make sure you post everyday you can, even if it's not the best workout. We're all here to support and motivate so let's get it going!
