Looking for Coach and Accountability
Here goes! I bought p90x 2 years ago, and started it twice only to ever make it to day 5. And now, 10 lbs heavier, disgusted with myself, and lacking confidence to begin, I am beginning again. I am starting tomorrow and really need a motivating coach that understands where I am at! Early 40s, working Mom, 40 lbs to lose. Help!!!

Hi Jenn. I did P90X for 4 rounds and am currently doing my second round of the Body Beast program. This summer, i coached my wife through her first ever P90X hybrid with great results. I'd be delighted to help you on your journey. I'll send a buddy request, check out my profile and let me know if you'd be willing to Move Forward with me.
Thanks for your consideration.

Hi Jen!

Congrats on deciding to start up with P90X again tomorrow, that's awesome! I'm sure you'll stick with it this time around. You seem motivated to really BRING IT for the next 90 days!

I would be thrilled to become your Coach. I've done P90X, P90X2, Insanity and Asylum, so I know what it's like to go through all the ups and downs of these programs, it ain't easy, that's for sure! I also have a private Facebook group of other ladies on my team; we post on there daily to stay accountable, share recipes, tips, tricks etc. and also just to help keep eachother motivated throughout each of our INSANE journies. Being a part of a tight-knit group of like-mineded ladies has really helped me stay on track and get through the ups and downs that these programs bring to the table! I sent you a Buddy Invite, so just let me know if you'd like to join us and I can send you some details.

Hope to chat soon!

Hi Jen,
I also started and quit P90X three times before finally pushing through with the help of a great coach! Finding a supportive team of people is so helpful on those days when things are getting in the way. What age are your kids? When are you planning on working out? Planning is going to be the key in trying to balance a job, family and your own needs. I bet you already know that!emoticon

I see in the post above...5:30. You can do it! When does your family wake up usually?

HeyKim! Yeah, didn't make the wake up this AM. My family doesn't get up until after 6, any time I've tried to get up earlier and workout just seems to disrupt the whole flow of the morning. And it is super hard to get up when my husband is still sleeping!!! It would be the best time, no excuses except lazy. I did get 'er done this evening! Day 1 in the books. Got any tips for making the time? My son is 12.

Even if you did not do it in the morning as you planned, you did it! Way to go!

For making time or scheduling a workout---schedule it like you would a doctor appointment or a meeting. Because when you schedule something, what do you tell people, "sorry I can't, I already have something to do". Apply the same concept with your workouts. or plan out your day and find the hole where you can plant your workout. If you have time in the evening, do it. If you have time in the afternoon, do it.
