Hi y'all! I have a couple questions about TF. First some info so you know where I'm coming from. I started the 7th week of TF yesterday. This is my second go around with TF, I did the 90 days took about 2 1/2 months off and now this is my second round. During this round I feel like I'm losing weight slower. I've lost 10 pounds in 44 days. The only reason I thought it would be more is because I wear a bodymedia armband and have it set to where I eat 1500 calories and burn 2500 and I should be losing 2 lbs a week. But that's not happening. So here are my questions. 1. I don't usually eat 1500 cals a day I usually do around 1200 cals and one splurge meal on the weekends. Is my low cal intake slowing my weight loss? 2. I don't see a whole lot of toning going on with my body. I still have about 30 lbs to lose before I'm the ideal weight for my height. So do I just need to lose more before I see the toning? B/c when I do the TF workouts I'm punching and kicking pretty hard and I keep up my intensity. So I just thought my arms would be a little more shapely. Thanks in advance for any help or info!
I'm assuming you're female? If you are, you should be between 1600-1800 cals per day. Anything less combined with High-Intensity training and your body will self cannibalize to find the nutrition resources elsewhere. This will slow muscle growth and therefore slow your metabolism. Are you eating 5-6 times a day, every 3 hours? This is important to speed up metabolism. Get rid of your "splurge" meal and eat clean 7 days a week. You should see toning.
Also, you might look into doing a different training program. Our bodies become accustomed to the same workouts and this will slow results. Changing workout programs will sock the muscles.
