Does insanity help you lose fat? or just weight? I realize that if you are losing fat you have to be losing weight, but does it burn mostly fat, or is it other stuff that cause the majority of the weight loss? I'm asking because I have been losing weight, almost 20 pounds in round 1, but I havent really noticed that much belly fat loss. I definitely have seen some fat loss, but I feel like for the amount of weight ive lost, I should have lost more fat. OR is it that the fat is being burned somewhere else first? like the legs or arms?

Don't worry you are losing plenty of fat. Everyone has stubborn areas that hold more fat/water. This is just genetics and there is no way to spot reduce, or lose fat in a particular area. Just keep working hard and you will see the belly fat go away as your overall bodyfat% gets lower

Congrats on your weight loss so far! When you lose weight you will lose fat. People lose it in different places at different times. Some places are more stubborn. How is your nutrition? Not just calories, but what you eat can matter.

Are you on round 1 or 2?

Just curious if you took your before and after pics. Sometimes we don't see a difference because the weight loss is gradual, but if you take 1st and last day photos, you can really see the difference. You did a really nice job though, 20lbs is super in 60days! Congrats!

It will help you lose fat, gain muscle -- and usually what that means, is that you'll lose weight emoticon Unfortunately, we don't get to pick and choose when and where we lose it from. But if you stick to the 60 day program, you'll see results. For even better results, it is recommended to complete the program 2-3 times emoticon

I am kind of stuck on the body fat% even though I have completed Insanity - is there something else I need to do to crank up the body fat reduction?

Body fat in the belly is usually the last thing to go anyway. Everyone is different, but if you keep working hard the fat will be off in time. That was my problem when I first started the weight was dropping but I couldn't see my six pack.
Like I said though, the body usually holds the last of the fat in the stomach, as long as you keep eating properly and doing what you are doing you will see results emoticon
