P90x Yoga
P90x Yoga

I am a person with horrible posture due to a bad back and not bendable at all. I do my best but some things i can not do without hurting my back. Question is, is there anything i can be doing instead of the yoga. I cant fully dive into it because i cant or (currently struggle with) doing alot of the moves. I was wondering if there was anything i can substitute it with, if its fully necessary, and or some tips or tricks. Id appreciate the info. Thanks

Hi! When did you start P90X? How many times have you tried the yoga? I definitely would not do the moves you cannot do with your bad back and I would check with your doctor. I would do the moves you can do as Yoga is important for flexibity. It would be helpful to know which moves are difficult to give you tips. As far as subbing- options are more stretching, some people do cardioX. Are you doing classic?

What made you decide to do P90X?

Happy to help! Bring it! emoticon

Ive only tried it twice. Im almost done with my second week. The first time i tried everything i was left hurting pretty bad. Yesterday when i did the yoga i skipped so much of it it was pointless to even put in the dvd. Most of the twisting moves is what really kills my back the most.

Can i substitute the yoga all together for the streching dvd? Thanks for the reply!

Oh! and yes im doing classic. I am a horrible posture, flexible and back person. So basically every move is almost to the point i cant do it. My wife tries her hardest and does a great job. She always encourages me but says i never look right and she worries im gonna hurt myself. Thats why i ask. Thanks so much!

I can't finish because my feet start hurting horribly. But I just do my best and forget the rest.
I think cardio x and kenpo might help because they have yoga in the beggining.
