Uk newbie started insanity this week
Hey guys!

Just thought I'd introduce myself to the board. I'm from the uk and have done bodybuilding for a number of years. But now old age (44) and never enough time to spend in the gym means I need some other way to keep fit.

Saw insanity advertised a few weeks ago on tv and did some research and here I am.

Started the programme on Monday and have surprised myself with how I feel. Knew I'd feel tired but how can you couple that with the elation the next day? Weird! Or suppose our cousins over the pond may say that's insanity

What am I aiming to achieve? A better level of fitness and to tone up. I have a hectic business which is demanding plus I am a rescue diver on the international f1 circuit so travel a bit - and trust me a wetsuit isn't very flattering if you have a few extra pounds :-)

I will post some insanity pics and hopefully keep you posted.

Good luck everyone

I am also in the uk, and have been doing Insanity for a couple of months now, having fell off the wagon once or twice. I think as well as the obvious physical challenge its the mental challenge I struggle with more, I really have to motivate myself to keep going....so week 2 here I come again!! Good luck, and BRING IT ON!!!

Welcome to the society! I'm another that's from the UK - glad to hear there's more than me!

I'm almost done with week two (just got Pure Cardio + Cardio Abs then a rest day before I re-do the Fit Test). Everyone on here is SO encouraging and joining certain,y holds you accountable. I just can't believe I never did it sooner!

Anyways, I've sent you a buddy request so that we can commit and succeed together!

Cheers,

Mark

Hi guys, Im from Devon - 2nd week into insanity. Could do with some UK support! had cardio recovery today so a welcome 'easy' day. I'm about a stone over weight so I'm hoping to loose some and get toned up. I'm running (walking!!!!) the Edinburgh marathon in may so I thought this would set me up nicely

Good luck guys, DIG DEEPER hahahahaha

I've just finished my first week of insanity! Rest day tomorrow! It's definately tough but we just have to 'dig deeper' and 'keep your core tight' heh! Shaun T is such a good motivator, just when I think im gonna pass out he says something to spur me on again!!!
