4th week into Insanity.... Getting frustrated
I love Insanity workout, I finish sweating and with the feeling I have workout. Now I am on my 4th week and I can't do all the drills, and everything related to push ups, planks/abs.... I thought that by now I would be able to do it!!! Anyway, need to keep trying. Anybody has had the same problem? Feel like I am the bad student here.....

Hi!

Do you mean you can't do pushups and planks/ski abs/in-out abs at all? Or you just can't go the whole time without taking a break? That's fine if you still have to take breaks here and there. I am sure you are getting more reps in and you're able to push harder than you have before.

In my experience, I still had to take 5-10 second breaks here and there, but that's because I was pushing myself harder and getting more reps in than I did the previous times I did the workouts. Keep pushing I am sure you're making progress! What is your favorite workout so far?

you have to keep working! i promise you finish these 60 days and your going to be like wow i cant believe how much ive improved. i went from 280 lbs and having to jog during some of the exercises and taking lil breaks to 220 lbs and being able to do everything and even get more reps then ppl in the videos on some, and taking less breaks then some in 90 days. and im still going.

if you need extra motivation and support i would love to have you on my challenge thread.

I just finished the cycle and felt like that at the end of the first four weeks also. When you take your fit test you will see results. When I couldn't do enough push up "things" to satisfy me, I would modify by doing inclined on the couch. In the end, my fit test went from 13 pushup jacks to 31. It eventually comes if you keep pushing!

Thanks! I can do a couple and then I need to take a break.... Thanks for your post, really nice to take your time to reply...so motivating.....now getting ready for Core Cardio and Balance!

It's ok to take breaks in between. This is all about progress. No one expects you to jump into doing what Shaun T does!! Do a few, take a break and repeat. Then, the next week, try not to take as many breaks. It might take a few rounds of Insanity to complete, but make that your goal and stick to it!
