Ok, I've finished the 2 months of insanity and am wondering what to do next? should I go through it again? I only lost about 9-10 lbs but am certain I gained muscle mass in my chest area and did lose inches in my waist (went from a 36 to 34 now)......

I really like the program and want to keep going but don't want my body to get used to the same thing so results are minimal...

Any Ideas?

Hey!!

Congrats on finishing Insanity up!! I did it last fall, and my boyfriend is doing it now. I know month 2 is tough!!! Did you follow the meal plan as well?

What are your goals today? Do you want to become more lean, lose weight, or build more muscle? If you want to continue to get lean, I would say do one more round of Insanity then you can move onto Asylum. If you are wanting to lose weight, I would move onto Asylum to keep your body guessing and at its max. Then, if you are trying to gain muscle, I would recommend a hybrid of Insanity and P90X or Body Beast. That will help get your hard cardio in, but it will still shock your system with a new workout. Does that make sense? We have an accountability group starting December 4th if you'd like to join us! It's about 5 of us doing BB workouts and eating healthy through the holidays. I know I am going to need it with exams coming up--I'm also a teacher, but I teach high school math. You're an inspiration to me after 23 years of teaching!! emoticon

Let me know what you decide on--I have hybrids of Insanity mixed with Asylum, P90X, and ChaLEAN Extreme (another strength program) if you need ideas too!

Congrats on finishing Insanity!

I would recommend doing Insanity one more time, or you could move onto Asylum (one of my fav's!) Another great option is to do a hybrid of Insanity and Asylum emoticon

take a couple days off then do recovery week. then start another round or another exercise program.
