Tomorrow starts the journey of TurboFire! Who's crushin' it with me? : )
Showing 11 results.
Hey guys! My name is Sarah and I am starting my journey of TurboFire tomorrow! (November 19) Can. Not. Wait! I wanted to see who else was starting tomorrow so we can encourage each other and push through! I have really been working on my will power for the past few months and I can say that I have been doing AWESOME, and have actually got compliments on it without people knowing that I have been working on it- That really made me smile. emoticon

I am 25 years old, married to a wonderful man, and am a mother to two boys - 3 and 1. They are my SONshines!

So here is the whole deal with me; I started P90X 6 months ago and never finished it! I did it two times. Both times I only got up to two weeks and stopped doing it. I saw awesome results though but I just wasn't feeling it at that time- I needed something different to keep me really motivated!

I am a huge music fan and I love to dance, so that is why I ordered a challenge pack and picked Turbo Jam about 3 weeks ago. I thought it would be the perfect fit. I wanted to get the feel of Chalene, get to know her, and try out her first program. I just LOVE HER. So inspirational and hilarious! TurboFire went on sale and I got it for $48. Can't beat that! After doing Turbo Jam for a few weeks exercise does not feel like a chore to me. I look FORWARD to pushing play! And I cannot wait to start TurboFire tomorrow- I also am doing a meal replacement with Shakeology. I wouldn't say that I need to lose weight but gain muscle and work on my belly from having kids. I just want to be able to inspire other mothers and help them!

So with that said, I am ready to start this program tomorrow and would love for other Turbo fans to join me! Plus I need to make some buddies on here- I am new and want to connect with people that have the same inspiration as I do. Looking forward to meeting you!!!

Good morning! I am the queen of starting programs, doing them for a few weeks, then letting work and life get in the way. I'm going to start the Turbo Fire/ChaLean Extreme Hybrid this morning (19th) and I would love to have an accountability buddy (accountibilibuddy?) emoticon
My name is Michelle, I'm 37. I'm married, no kids, and my job requires that I travel a lot, which is what always derails me. I have to accept the fact that I am always going to travel and get over it and just learn to deal with having a healthy lifestyle on the road. I'm leaving for Maryland tomorrow for a family Thanksgiving and I'm going to bring all my DVDs, my portable DVD player, and my exercise bands so I stick to the schedule.
Good luck!

Hi Michelle! Nice to meet you! I applaud you for bringing your DVD player, program, and equipment with you! emoticon That's a GREAT start! Good for you girl!

Every New Year I am always making the resolution to eat healthy and exercise and thought what way to better start then doing it at the hardest time of the year! Thanksgiving, Christmas.. if we get through the Holidays (which we will) we have nothing to worry about. Haha!

My workout went well today, well except for the fact that I couldn't find my DVD controller anywhere! With having a 1 year old always taking the controller it could have been anywhere. An hour in a half passed and I FINALLY found it- in the bath tub! lol But it didn't stop me from doing the work out, I worked hard, sweated, and it felt good. After every workout it's always the feeling that you get when you complete it. It's so rewarding!

After TurboFire I would love to try CheLean Extreme Hybrid after. Let me know how your first day went for you! We can do this! I am so determined to finish a workout because I never have- it's so horrible, I hate being that person to quit. But like you said sometimes letting life get in the way.. it does that to you. Not this time.. were doing this girl- Let me know how your first day went and enjoy your family too!!! Hey maybe you can get others to join ya? emoticon

Hi Ladies!

Today was my first day of TurboFire. I'm doing the prep schedule because I am extremely out of shape. I only made it through 20 minutes of the first class but that's okay! I'm going to keep pushing play.

I couldn't find my DVD remote either so I couldn't do the new to class option. My toddler likely hid it somewhere. SOme of the moves have me a wee bit confused so I'm going to watch the DVD on slow mo in the evenings to practice the moves.

It's a fun workout though and I love Chalene's energy.

Let's do this ladies!!! I'll check back in tomorrow!

I started Turbo Fire on the 19th as well. It's a lot of fun. Hands down the best workout I've ever done so far. I did Turbo Jam a couple years ago. And did Chalean Extreme a few months back, I lost a couple pant sizes doing that. I'm at a size 10 right now and hoping to get down to a 6 with Turbo Fire.

Heyyyy girls!! emoticon

Geishacat- Every day is an improvement girl! Just be proud of yourself that you are dedicated to finish TurboFire! 20 minutes starting out for the class is awesome! Everyday just had on a few extra minutes and get yourself a goal. You have an awesome attitude already- Just keep pushing play! Chalene's energy is AWESOME. Every time I get done working out with her she makes me excited for the next work out! Good luck girl, keep checking in and let us know how you are doing!

Ravi05- So happy for you! You have had GREAT results with Chalene- You will definitely reach your goal I am sure with TurboFire. But I couldn't agree with you more TurboFire is such a fun workout! It doesn't even feel like a workout to me that's why I love it so much. I never had to work out really but since I had kids my body wasn't the same anymore- I am only 25 years old and knew I had to do SOMETHING...So happy that I gave TurboJam/Fire a try; Chalene is so inspirational. Let us know how your doing/feeling, excited to know your results!

Dannipoint7- Yeaahhh! Work it girl- let us know how your doing with it! I went to your profile and you have had some AWESOME results! emoticon You look great!

Today will be day 3 of TurboFire and I coudn't be more excited to push play everyday, I LOVE it. I can't wait until I master the routines, it's SO much fun.

The first day went really good!It made me excited for day two.. I knew that was a good sign when I was already looking forward to the next work out.. that never has happened to me before.

The second day was Low HIIT 20 and I absolutely loved it. I really worked up a sweat! Before I began I was looking at the "prep work out schedule" and thought it was the regular schedule for TurboFire.. I was thinking, they really want me to stretch the second day? So I did Stretch 40 and then found the actual guide and saw that I wasn't supposed to do that one.. lol But the funny thing is before I got TurboFire I was doing TurboJam for a few weeks and I did the Ab workout on there and my Ab's were SO sore the next day.. a good sore though, but it hurt to even laugh- After I got done with Stretch 40 I felt like a new woman! My abs really didn't hurt that bad. So I was actually happy that I did see the scedule wrong because it made me feel better for the Low HIIT 20 class.

I have been thinking not taking a break and just working out everyday straight through- my goal is to help other mothers and show them with just hard work that they can achieve it too- But I want to get done sooner then later because when the New Year hits there are a ton of people making resolutions to get healthy and in shape- I became a BB Coach for that reason. This truly is a big step for me because I have never actually "finished" a workout program. By having a goal of helping others it really has changed my attitude and it makes me work even harder.

How is everyone doing on their diet? I have been doing good! I am also going to school online so I am up until usually 4 in the morning every night, it sucks- but I have to do what I have to do.. since I stay up SO late my body is naturally hungry at midnight it seems so I snack on some Veggie Straws.. love those chips! Or else eat a fruit- but they say don't eat 3 hours before you go to bed, thoughts on this? I just need to manage my time a little better...

Keep checking in ladies so I can see/hear your result story with TurboFire. GOOD LUCK, you got this.

I managed to get my workout in today despite it being a busy day!

I've been keeping track of my calories with My Fitness Pal. And been trying to stick to eating veggies, fruits, lean meats and whole grains as best I can. On Monday I am going to be starting the 5 Day Inferno. I'm a little worried that its going to be really tough but I think it'll be worth it.

Hi Everyone - I was wondering if I could join your group? I started Turbo Fire on the 20th. I thought my DVD's were going to be in the mailbox on Monday so I could start, but they didn't come til Tues, so I am on Day 4 today. I loved Turbo Jam so much that I decided to try this and so far this is my favorite.
I love to be a part of groups that are doing the same program. I find it's a lot more fun and motivating. I am one that has to be accountable.

Hey - Just checking in....I've been sick for the past 3 days with a nasty head cold. I was coughing steady and my head was so full of crap I couldn't do anything but lay on my couch. I hate that feeling. emoticon
I am starting to feel better so I might try and get a workout in tonight and then I will only be missing the FIRE 55 EZ. I love TF and miss my workouts.
