I have found that depending on the type of calories you eat makes a big diff. on how many calories you need but if your eating only 1650 & burning 500 to 700 then thats only around maybe 900 to 1000 calories a day & that is to low. Try slowly to in crease your calorie in take & see what works for you. but I would be adding some calories back in.

I fall into the 1800 level, but i think this is more maintaining. i want to lose 20 pounds. I burn around 500-700 per workout. i am 18 5'2 144 pounds. I have been trying to get 1650 calories a day. is this a good calorie intake to maintain to lose?
