Kinda need help, everyone :s

So, I'm a college student, and I have very little funding. I can maybe make minimal changes to my diet, or maybe get a gym membership... but surely not both.
The equipment i have to work with is one non-adjustable bench press, one 30 lbs bar, 2 dumbbell bars, 4 10 lbs weights and 4 5 lbs weights, 1 skipping rope and one medium strong tension band without handles. Pathetic, I know, but that's what I have to work with.

Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated emoticon

For now what i would do since im kind of in the same boat with financial situations (moving out of mom and dad's lol) would be to get a nice set of resistance bands for around $30. Beachbody has a ton of different programs that when resistance bands are supplemented for dumbbells, some of the exercises are actually harder than normal. I'm about to start P90X in the next couple of weeks and before i got my dumbbells, resistance bands worked GREAT with it, they show you how you can modify almost every single move with the band.

Nutrition is one of those things that everyone has questions about and honestly, as long as your eating whole foods even if theyre generic, youll get wayyy better results than you would on a McDonald's or Burger King diet. Don't stress over food, make the best choices you can with your budget and you should be just fine.

Tommrows blackfriday at beachbody. P90x is on sale tommrow with some shakeology for $99. hip hop abs turbo jam boot camp body gospil all on sale tommrow. If you are looking to lose weight with no equipment id go with insanity. But with a band and you want some muscle id go with p90x. Happy turkey day!! Jo

I agree with the bands. I get a good workout with them and they are inexpensive. Do you have a workout program? What is your overall goal?

Cheers,
Christina

You might look into Insanity. It requires no equipment except a good surface and a lot of willpower. But spending 30 bucks on a set of bands is probably a good idea if you can afford it.

As for food...you just need to do what you can. Make the best choices you can, make a conscious effort about it. Food is the most important part, but money is money.
