I am 59 and doing P90x and supplementing with 1 hour treadmill daily. Thinking a alternating treadmill with stationary bike. However, have good knees right now and don't want to be another old person with knee problems/surgery. Any concerns with using a stationary bike? Good or bad for the knees? added stress?

Hi Mike!

How is P90X going? What week are you on? A stationary bike is actually very low impact. I used it when recovering from a knee issue. I think you will be fine. What is your goal with P90X?

I have been doing P90x for about 6 months, but skipping bits and pieces. For last 3 months have been doing the entire program, but just transitioning from bands to weights. Still substituting Cardio X for the Yoga - impossible so far! To old to bend that many ways...Best shape I've been in last 30 years....
