Hi! You have made the first step and posted asking for help. Things that have helped me and others I work with start and stay on track is to write down our goals where we can see them. Having a workout schedule which you can cross off when finished. Tracking both nutrition and exercise. I use myfitnesspal and a heart rate monitor. Finding a supportive group. I just started a new support thread:
Support Thread I would love for you to join us!
It sounds as though you are making good choices. Have you checked with your dr to make sure there is no medical reason that you are not losing weight?
One of my concerns is that Turbofire- love it! is high impact and may not be good for you with bad knees. There is a modifier (a women doing the moves low impact) so I would follow her in the videos. I also recommend looking at the new to class dvds to get yourself used to the moves.
I sent you a buddy invite. Please feel free to message me with any questions! You CAN do this!! Your girls will likely like Turbofire so you can make it a fun family activity!!
Cheers,
Christina
