I want to start working out in the morning and I don't know what to do about eating. I have so much trouble working out on a completely empty stomach and feel weak especially when I lift. What do most people do when they work out in the morning? Would it be helpful to eat a certain type of snack before bed so I have some type of fuel store for the morning? What kind of foods would be recommended for a morning work out?

I would suggest eating a little something before you go to bed, perhaps a protein shake an hour or so before? When you wake-up, drink a big glass of water. Have you heard of E&E? That's a pre-workout supplement that is pretty much amazing for fueling your workouts. If you want to avoid the supplement then just make sure you aren't dehydrated, like I said, drink water when you wakeup and give it 15 minutes. You might want a banana too? Experiment and see what works best for you.

I would eat something small. Piece of toast with peanut butter. Half banana is great for quick energy boost.
