Just starting and need support!
I just started the ten minute trainer. I did 8 minutes of the ten minute cardio. I'm not feeling very motivated. Just out of shape and slightly depressed. I need to lose about 60 pounds. I need a coach and buddies for support, accountability and sometimes a kick in the pants.

I to was were your at now not long ago. At the begining of this year i weighed in at 207 needing to lose 75lbs before i would be at a healthy weight. Now 47lbs lighter and still going at it. Have faith in yourself and you can do this. In the begining of my journy my exersize wasnt there but I changed my eating habites over about 2 weeks insted of cutting everything out at once. After about a month of eating better I lost 12lbs. I added in just simple exercises such as walking instead of elevaters and running/jogging/walking in place during comercales on tv. I uped my exercising as it got easier for me. If you ever want to talk im here. Oh and if you have kids you CAN do this with them have them motivate you. My 4 kids think working out is a game and they ask every day to play lol. And remember to have fun.

Fitzinva, Welcome to Beachbody, for me to succeed in a workout I needed to do a few things. I needed to be ready for a change, I wrote down why I wanted to lose weight, what makes me unhappy about being out of shape, and what would change in my life when I got into shape?

Then I realize that you have to be in the right mind set, when I answer the previous questions honestly I got into the right mind set to move forward, I decided and committed.

Set a goal how much weight do want to lose make it realistic, like 1 pound a week, then keep track with a card weigh yourself once a week.

Are you tired of the yo-yo diet? You lose weight and then it comes back.. If you decide you want a change make that decision.

Set realistic goals, try to improve a little bit more each day try to get one more rep setting little goals don't try to be like the trainer on the video, set little goals.

Also get on a good nutrition plan, I myself am on myfitnesspal.com i think it's the best program out there to track your nutrition.

If you would like more help send me a buddy request and I would be happy to work with you

Thanks. I wish my daughter would do it with me! She's in good shape and just laughes at me when I try to work out. I'm basically going it alone in my household. My friends at work are model-thin and don't know what it's like to be bigger than that.

When she sees that your mentally prepared, and nothing is gonna stop you your gonna be like a unstoppable freight train..but first review what I have said get your mind right, and she will actually follow you, it might take a month but be a great example and your gonna be a light in the darkness shinning bright, people are gonna be attracted to that light, but first I will say it again get yourself in a good mind set...Mind set and goals will help you succeed

Hey hey!! Good for you for taking the initial step to better your health. People sometimes just don't understand what others go through. Going at this alone will be a tough battle. I have a ladies only support group on FB. We give each other support and tips. If you are interested, just send me a message. We would love to have you!! emoticon
