Hi, I was just wondering what your opinions were. I am on week 2 of insanity and decided that I want my family to get involved with this too. Would it be a bad idea to redo month one once I finish the recovery week instead of moving onto month 2? Then when my family has caught up we can all continue together onto month 2?

I feel like working out is working out and it won't make a difference if I hold out on another month to do month 2... maybe I am wrong

What do you guys think?

Thanks so much emoticon

I don't think that that is a bad idea at all! Working out with others will help each of you motivate one another and push it even more. When we work out alone it is easy to say "I'm tired I think I should rest!" But when others are watching you will push yourself more.

I am thinking of redoing month one myself, not because someone wants to workout with me but to get even stronger and have more endurance to really be able to push it in month two.

Good luck with whatever you do and I am happy that your family is joining in and wants to better themselves with you emoticon

I think it's a great idea to start over, especially is you are getting your family involved. You should start a Challenge Group with them! I can explain how that works, if you are interested. I'll send you a buddy request.

I normally encourage people to move on to month 2 so that their body experiences different workouts which will force more change, but if you're bringing in other people then definitely start over with month 1. That's awesome that you're getting your family involved! How have you been liking the program so far?

First off, I want to say congratulations on starting Insanity!! That is an awesome routine you picked and will definitely help get you where you want to be. How are you liking it so far?

I also love the idea of bringing family into the mix! Go you! I don't see it as a bad idea of redoing Month 1. Since you have family that is wanting to join, it will be a breath of fresh air for not only them but you as well. It could actually give you a big kick start to Dig Deeper than you ever have before! I think Coach Jeff's idea of starting a challenge group is a great one. Accountability and motivation will be taken to the next level!

Diggin the name insanitynewb. Though I hear "newb" a lot being a gamer, I haven't seen it spelled that way in years. I actually see it spelled "n00b" "noob" "nub" "boob" and "food" haha. I swear, gamers are a different breed entirely lmao!

It's where you have a group of 5-6 people participating in the same workout program, doing the same workout each day. It provides accountability and motivation to all those in the group. we have several challenge groups and it's becoming a big part of our fitness training business.
