p90x arms workout

I'm specifically talking about the shoulders and arms workout in P90X. I've completed one round of P90X and in that round I got amazing results and I raised the weight at an incredible rate when I did this workout but now I'm doing the P90X/ Insanity hybrid and when I do that particular workout, I'm lucky to barely go up one or two reps on every other exercise. I'm on the third week now and I was just wondering if anyone out there has any tips for me to see the radical improvements I saw in my first round.

My advice would be to ensure you get proper proteins, carbs and fats ratios throughout the day. You burn a whole lot of calories doing Insanity and chances are, the only reason why your weights are not going up is because you are experiencing a lot of muscle fatigue. Having the proper nutrition would help greatly, that and proper supplements.

Doing more reps at a lower weight will get you more definition, more weight and fewer reps will get you more muscle bulk faster (without a lot of reps). Please feel free to add me as a friend and message me and we can talk more. Thanks! emoticon
