Advice on Supplements for Double Workouts
Hello,

I am doing the P90X double workout with a little adjustment; I am exercising twice per day; in the morning I am doing the Interval X Plus workout, and in the evening I am doing the regular P90X workouts as per the plan.
I am using both pre and post workout supplements; Energy & Endurance pre-workout and Results and Recovery Formula post-workout.
How should I take those supplements with both workouts per day? Should I take Energy & Endurance twice per day? Should I take Results and Recovery Formula twice a day?

That is an interesting questions. Let em ask you a few questions. What is your goal with doubles? Have you done P90X before?
I personally think that results and recovery it definitely needed at weight workouts. In the morning i think ti will depend on how you feel post-workout- did you really push it? Also, do you eat breakfast right after your workouts? I would overall day once a day.

As far as E & E- which I love!- do you find that you need it in the morning? You could split it 1/2 in am 1/2 in pm. It really comes down to how you feel during the workouts. Is it helping with your cardio workout in the morning.

Thank you for your reply.

I have started P90X around 9 months before; I did 3 times the classic program, this is the first time I do the doubles. In addition, I started taking E&E 2 days ago. My weight was 105 KG before I started P90X and my height is 174 cm, and now my weight is 93 KG with 24% of body fat. I want to do the doubles to loose fat while also building muscles.

During the morning workout, after the Interval X Plus, I feel good, not too much tired. I take my breakfast after the workout (4 white eggs and 1 yellow egg, skimmed milk + 2 tablespoons of oat + 1 tablespoon of milled flax seed, and finally 1 banana). I think, as you said, I should keep the results and recovery formula till after the second workout.

As for the E&E, I started taking it shortly, when I do Interval X Plus in the morning, I feel little tired during the workout and I take couple of breaks. I think I will need, especially since I do it at 5:00 AM in the morning. But, should I take 2 scoops in the morning and 2 scoops in the evening? or should I take 1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon? but, here I think 1 in the after it is not enough. so, I am wondering if 1 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon is fine. I really need your advise here.
