Hi Everyone!
I am new, well on day 12 of the P90X, loving it so far, yes its kicking my butt but I find each week and workout I am getting stronger
Now my issue is my wrists on the push ups and the first 1/2 of yoga......they are so sore this week that I had to skip all the downward dog stuff in Yoga....sitting here even typing my right wrist is sore and I didnt do push ups today!
Suggestions? I did buy the push up bars and they have helped with putting the pressure in the right spot now....I do ice, I can not take advil or any anti inflammitories due to medication I am on for my colitis
Any suggestions would be fantastic!!

Hi Sherylene,
The push bars should help you. What's causing the pain in your wrists is that they are in a flexed position when performing pushups. This causes stress on the joints and tissue in that area. The bars keep your hands straight and in line. You wrists could still be hurting because this is an overuse injury. Typing on a keyboard only adds to the problem. Best thing you can do for an overuse injury is give it rest and ice. This should lower the inflammation. Once this subside and now using your bars, I think you will be ok moving forward.
