IMPORTANT TIPS!

Nutrition: Be prepared by getting a solid nutrition plan in place prior to starting. You can do this week to week or even plan out your entire month. It plays a key role in the success of this program. If you want to see INSANE results you need to spend some time getting comfortable with your nutrition. Over time you will learn new eating habits that you can carry with you for the rest of your life. Follow the nutrition guide that was provided with your workout routine! If you have questions just reach out I will answer any questions that you might have.

Take Your Before & After Photo's: Make sure you document where you currently are. You will flip out at the end of 60 days when you the results. If you do not do this you will be very angry at yourself at the end of this program!

I have heard it countless times from people that forgot this step! They beat themselves up because they have nothing to compare their progress to! It only takes a few minutes so just do it! There is nothing more motivating than looking at your before and after pics and seeing the transformation! IT IS PRICELESS!

* Take the fit test

Pre Workout: Ensure you have enough fuel to get the intensity during your workouts. A pre-workout meal an hour or so before your workout is very important. But make sure not to eat right before you workout. These routines are intense and you could end up loosing it if you workout to soon after eating.

Shakeology is a good way to fill up the tank before a good workout! Added bonus it taste awesome and its good for you!

Early Morning Workouts: If you workout first thing in the morning you might want to skip eating and take a pre-fuel 15 minutes prior to working out. I know many of us have crazy schedules and do not have an hour+ to get a meal in then wait before we workout.

Post Workout: One of the most important part of any exercise routine is a proper recovery. I cannot stress how important it is to add a recovery drink immediately after your workout you will significantly decrease the amount of soreness you will experience while recovering from your workouts. The P90X Recovery Drink is a very good product and I highly recommend it. Shakeology also a great post-workout meal!

You May Be Sore:
Keep in mind the first week is rough! Expect to be sore and tired. Do not give up your body will adapt very quickly and in no time you will start seeing results. You may want to do a few of the workouts prior to starting just to get your body & mind ready.

Accountability:
Lastly post your Accountability Daily. The message boards are a great way to meet others that are going through what you are going through and it helps stay accountable and motivated! Send me a buddy invite so I can reach out to you if you don't show for a few days!

Had to take a rest day today. Oh SO close to finishing, but I had trouble with my knees and my shoulder and decided to push everything back one day. That means Max Plyo tomorrow, max cardio and cardio abs on Sunday, and Fit Test on Mondy. It's a little disappointing, but I knew I needed to listen to my body today.

Not sure where I'll go with workouts after this. I know i wasnt to try Rockin' Body. And I just got Turbo Fire in the mail today. Plus I have Hip Hop Abs and a couple of other non beach body workout dvd's that I want to try. I may take a week or so off and then start trying it all. I'm not going to committ to a full new program until after the new year. I have a trip to Florida the 2nd week in Jan, and I won't be doing anything regimented until after I get back.

I definitely am not taking December off, though. I have that trip in Jan and I want to be able to comfortably go to the beach or the pool.

Hey Coach Scott,

I am in for Phase III. I am starting out with a 2 lb weight loss which is not much but I'll take it it considering it is around the holidays. I am hoping to not gain anything over the next month (already have 4 parties this month so I am hoping to hold it together)

I fizzled out with the last two weeks of the turbofire / P90X hybrid as I am getting kinda bored. I've kept up with the workouts though. Today I did an upper body workout and an ab workout from a non beachbody product. I have that 90 day program, plus P90X2 which I haven't tried yet either so I was figuring I would try those 24 workouts out this month to see what they are like and incorporate some Turbofire here and there to get through this month. I ordered Les Mills Combat and will probably do that next so I'll just do a bunch of different workouts this month.

Hi Everyone –

Pilates matwork, weights, abs done last night.

ARX and aerobic decorating done today.

I’m in for December, too. November didn’t go as well as I had hoped. I didn’t plan on the air-cast and it definitely threw me a bit. I'm one of those people who gets serious endorphin rushes from good cardio and I’ve been missing it the past few weeks. I guess I should be happy that my weight didn’t creep up during November, but I’m not. I need it to be moving downward and December is such a hard month in which to accomplish that. I’m hoping this thread will help get me back on track.

Last night I wired my last garland for the day at 9:21 and was tempted to bypass my exercise room completely. Instead, I forced myself to spend an hour doing core, upper body and glute work. I didn’t do a particular workout, just did a little Tony, a little Shuan-T etc. Today I did my morning ARX, spent another 12 hours decorating, and am resting my arms this evening. I know I will be lifting and doing core work during the football games tomorrow and my arms needed the break. They've been getting overworked since my leg has been out of commission.

Hi everyone,

Started off the day with some Yoga X2. I like the much shorter version. I did improvise during the Warrier 3/Half moon phase as I've never been able to do those moves. Just don't have the balance. All around pretty good workout though. Tonight we have dinner and a show out so I have to try to keep the nutrition up this evening. Dining out always gives me trouble.

Fit test tomorrow. Bod Pod tomorrow. After pics tomorrow. I'll let you all know how I did. So happy to be FINISHED with Insanity! It's been a tough 9 weeks!
