P90X portion approach question.
So in the book is says that 3oz of meat/protein is 100 calories, and 2 cups of veggies is 100 calories and so on. But when I put these numbers into myfitnesspal.com it turns out out be much different. It depends on the brand of product you buy and so on. So my question is should I do what the book says even though i am eating less then what it actually claims? Or calculate my meals on myfitnesspal.com and get a more accurate number?

Use myfitnesspal to hit your macro target. I never used the book to calculate my every day calorie intake and macros. Myfitnesspal has a large database and even included most Beachbody recipes.
